Currently, cardiotocography (CTG) is the leading method for assessing the functional state of the fetus. A distinction is made between indirect (external) and direct (internal) cardiotocography.
Primary cardiopulmonary resuscitation in children is performed directly at the scene of the incident by any person familiar with the elements of CPR technique.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is an organized, sequential procedure for dealing with circulatory arrest, including diagnosing the absence of blood circulation and breathing, maintaining basic vital functions
Cardiac resuscitation has less favorable outcomes than pulmonary resuscitation, since when the heart stops, respiratory function also quickly ceases.
Catheterization of the cardiac cavities is performed using puncture and percutaneous insertion of a catheter into a vessel - a peripheral vein (ulnar, subclavian, jugular, femoral) for the right chambers of the heart or an artery (brachial, femoral, axillary, radial) for the left chambers of the heart.
Insertion of a catheter through an artery or vein into the heart cavity allows obtaining information on the pressure value, the nature of blood flow, the oxygen saturation of blood obtained from different chambers, and with the introduction of a contrast agent and subsequent cardioangiography, to evaluate morphological features. These studies allow obtaining highly accurate information on morphological and functional changes in the heart and solving various diagnostic, and increasingly therapeutic problems.
Capillaroscopy is a method of visual examination of capillaries in vivo. The full name of the method is wide-field capillaroscopy of the nail bed. The study is carried out at low magnification of the microscope (x12-40), the object of observation is the distal row of capillaries of the nail bed (eponychium).
