Back pain is an urgent problem of medicine. Along with the fact that back pain is one of the most frequent reasons for going to the doctor, many aspects of this problem remain still unclear, and there are very few methods of treatment with a serious evidence base.
In the course of life, at least one episode of back pain is borne by 70-80% of the population. According to epidemiological studies, the prevalence of pain in the lower back reaches 40-80%. In 10-20% of patients of working age, acute pain in the back is transformed into a chronic one.
