Eli Somekh is a leading specialist in the treatment of infectious diseases and immune system pathologies in pediatrics. He is an international expert and heads the pediatric infectious and immunopathology department at the largest medical center in Israel. He provides consultations and prescribes treatment for children suffering from neonatal infections, including periodic fevers, immunodeficiencies, and long-term sluggish inflammatory processes.

Eli Somekh gives special attention to the issue of childhood immunization. Being a supporter of vaccination, he simultaneously protests against the imposition of such a preventive measure - for example, when children without vaccinations are not enrolled in kindergartens and schools.
