Gynecological diseases (gynecology)

Hemorrhagic shock

The development of shock is usually caused by hemorrhages exceeding 1000 ml, i.e. loss of more than 20% of the BCC or 15 ml of blood per 1 kg of body weight. Continuous bleeding, in which blood loss exceeds 1500 ml (more than 30% of the BCC), is considered massive and poses an immediate threat to the woman's life.

Neck and perineal-neck pregnancy

Cervical and isthmic-cervical pregnancy is a relatively rare complication of pregnancy, which is a distal variant of ectopic (extrauterine) pregnancy.

Uterine perforation

Among the causes of intra-abdominal bleeding, a certain place is occupied by perforation of the uterus during medical manipulations in its cavity. Most often, this occurs during artificial abortion and during removal of the remains of the fertilized egg in women with spontaneous or criminal miscarriage.

Postmenopausal osteoporosis

Postmenopausal osteoporosis is a multifactorial systemic skeletal disease characterized by a decrease in bone mass and disruption of the microarchitecture of bone tissue, which leads to increased bone fragility, and develops after natural or surgical menopause.

Urogenital disorders in menopause

Urogenital disorders in the climacteric period are a symptom complex of secondary complications associated with the development of atrophic and dystrophic processes in estrogen-dependent tissues and structures of the lower third of the genitourinary tract: the bladder, urethra, vagina, ligamentous apparatus of the small pelvis and muscles of the pelvic floor.

Climacteric syndrome (menopause) - Treatment

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is estrogen (ET) or estrogen-gestagen therapy for women in the climacteric period. Clinical symptoms of climacteric syndrome are caused by estrogen deficiency, so the use of estrogen replacement therapy is justified.

Climacteric syndrome (menopause) - Diagnosis

To assess the severity of climacteric syndrome, the Kupperman index is used as modified by E.V. Uvarova. The identified symptom complexes are analyzed separately.

Climacteric syndrome (menopause)

Climacteric syndrome (menopause) is a symptom complex that develops in some women during the period of fading of the functions of the reproductive system against the background of general age-related involution of the body.

Tubal-peritoneal infertility.

Tubal infertility in women is infertility caused by anatomical and functional disorders of the fallopian tubes. Tubal-peritoneal infertility in women occupies a leading place in the structure of infertile marriage and is the most difficult pathology in restoring reproductive function.

Ovarian insufficiency (hypergonadotropic amenorrhea)

Ovarian insufficiency is a form of endocrine infertility characterized by primary damage to the ovaries, consisting of the absence of the follicular apparatus or a violation of its ability to adequately respond to stimulation with gonadotropins.
