In recent years, scientists have made significant breakthroughs in the field of medicine and the treatment of complex diseases.
Recently, specialists from Israel have proposed a completely new method for treating infertility in women associated with pathological changes in the inner layer of the uterus (endometrium).
During the month, the woman's body is exposed to hormones, which in turn affect the uterine mucosa. Under the influence of hormones, the endometrium prepares for the implantation of the fertilized egg and the further development of the embryo throughout the pregnancy. However, during inflammatory processes or as a result of hormonal disorders, pathological changes begin to occur in the endometrium, which prevent the attachment of the fertilized egg and lead to spontaneous abortions.
According to statistics, women with pathological changes in the uterine mucosa have more than 65% unsuccessful attempts to become a mother (including in vitro fertilization). In most cases with this pathology, pregnancy ends in spontaneous miscarriage.
In Israel, specialists have developed a completely new method that helps women get pregnant with endometrial defects. This method is unique in its kind and can make a real breakthrough in the field of female infertility treatment.
The treatment is based on the method of using stem cells obtained from the patient herself.
The technique was developed as part of research into regenerative medicine, which studies the possibilities of treating various diseases and disorders using human stem cell transplantation directly into the affected area.
Israeli doctors have decided to use stem cells to treat infertility in women, which developed as a result of pathological changes in the endometrium.
The new treatment method was developed by combining knowledge in the field of biomedical engineering and biology. Specialists decided to use stem cells from a woman's fat for transplantation into the inside of the uterus. Stem cells, specially prepared in a laboratory, are transplanted into the woman's uterus, and as a result, the egg is renewed and the inner layer of the uterus is restored.
In total, such fertilization takes no more than two weeks.
Specialists have already tested the method on a 40-year-old woman who was diagnosed with a serious endometrial pathology. The result was stunning - for the first time in the history of medicine, a woman with such a diagnosis was able to conceive and carry a completely healthy baby.
The author of the unique method was the Israeli gynecologist Ilya Bar. According to Bar himself, the fertilization procedure is simple, fast, and painless.
Now doctors in Israel have already begun to use this method to treat infertility in women. As experts noted, it is possible to get pregnant with the help of stem cells in 80% of cases.
Scientists assume that the new method will become widespread and will allow many women to get rid of the pathology and experience the joy of motherhood.
