Treating Allergies with Herbs

It is believed that the substance, first isolated from chamomile in the 15th century, helps reduce the severity of allergic symptoms. This component is called azulene, it is included in many anti-allergic external agents, sprays and medications. Azulene has effective anti-inflammatory properties, is able to resist bacterial infection and reduce histamine activity. There is information about the effective treatment of bronchial asthma, urticaria and allergic dermatitis with chamomile infusion. It would seem that a simple recipe that does not require special costs really helps, provided that it is used for a long time. The recipe is quite simple: a tablespoon of chamomile flowers is poured with a glass of boiling water and infused for half an hour. You need to drink this remedy during the day, 1 tablespoon every 4 hours. The next day, you need to prepare a fresh infusion. The course of treatment is at least three months. For allergic hay fever, chamomile should be taken from March.
Licorice
Many anti-inflammatory drugs contain glycyrrhizic acid, which is extracted from licorice. Ammonium salt - glyceram, has no contraindications and is used as a means of neutralizing the manifestations of allergies. Those interested in treating allergies with folk remedies should pay attention to the following recipe: 10-15 grams of licorice root are poured with 0.5 liters of boiling water and infused for 12 hours (night). Take the infusion one tablespoon every 3-4 hours daily for two to three months. Then take a break for a month and repeat the course. Thus, three courses of licorice treatment must be carried out during the year to get rid of persistent allergic dermatitis and reduce the frequency of asthma attacks.

It is very easy to brew it - like regular tea. For 250-300 ml of boiling water, take a teaspoon of dry grass. Infuse for 15-20 minutes and drink warm as much as you want. The only condition is a golden-yellow color of the infusion, that is, each time it should be fresh. The course of treatment is long - up to six months, but the result will be excellent. The skin will be cleared not only of allergic rashes, but also of acne, if any.
Nettle
Nettle is considered a blood purifier. In fact, nettle does contain a lot of vitamins, but phytoncides, chlorophyll and glycosides contained in this plant combat allergies. Dry nettle leaves are poured with boiling water at the rate of 3 tablespoons per half a liter of water. It is better to insist the remedy in a thermos for 3-4 hours. Take a quarter of a glass during the day. A fresh infusion should be prepared daily. The course of treatment is a month. During this period, persistent allergic rashes and even eczema should disappear.
Bran
It is known that many allergic reactions are caused by food intolerance due to poor functioning of the digestive system. Bran will help to improve the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and rid the body of toxins. Treatment of allergies with folk remedies involves periodic cleansing and adsorption, and bran will become an indispensable assistant in this process. A tablespoon of bran is poured with a small amount of boiling water and taken half an hour before each meal. The first portion should be eaten on an empty stomach, early in the morning. Vitamin E, which is recommended to be taken daily for a month and a half at a dosage of 400 mg, also has a positive effect on eliminating symptoms and the entire disease. Vitamin E has pronounced anti-allergic properties.
Another method of folk treatment of allergies is treatment with castor oil. It is necessary to dilute 5 drops of castor oil in half a glass of fruit (or vegetable) juice (to which there is no allergy) or regular water and drink the prepared mixture in the morning on an empty stomach. The procedure should be repeated for a month. This recipe is especially effective if the body is prone to allergic reactions that occur in the digestive tract or nasal sinuses of the patient.
One of the exotic citrus fruits – lime – has proven itself to be excellent in the fight against any kind of allergy. This fruit not only removes unnecessary toxins from the body, but also has a powerful anti-allergic effect. It is necessary to squeeze the juice from half a fruit into a glass of warm water, adding a teaspoon of honey to the resulting mixture. All this should be thoroughly mixed and taken once in the morning on an empty stomach for one or several months.
Traditional treatment of allergies also includes treatment with vegetable juices, such as carrot-beetroot-cucumber. To prepare it, take half a liter of freshly squeezed carrot juice, add the same amount of beetroot and cucumber juices. Mix everything and take the mixture at least once a day.
The next excellent remedy for curing allergies is a very well-known herb in Asia – ginkgo biloba. Ginkgo effectively fights allergic asthma attacks and many other respiratory diseases. The leaves of the plant contain special substances that activate the activity of platelets in the blood, due to which a powerful fight against allergens occurs. In addition, ginkgo biloba contains natural anti-inflammatory chemicals and antihistamines that perfectly fight various diseases.
Traditional treatment of allergies also includes treatment with... eggshells. It is necessary to crush the well-washed and dried shell of 1 egg into powder, add a few drops of lemon juice to the powder and drink it during one day in one or several doses. As practice shows, allergy symptoms disappear after a week from the start of treatment, sometimes you need to wait several weeks.
The following complex is very effective in combating allergies of any kind. It involves cleansing the body, following a diet and boosting immunity.
First, you need to cleanse your body with activated carbon and a mixture of apple and cucumber juices, then saturate your digestive tract with beneficial microflora (kefir, yogurt, etc.) for a month and, finally, start monitoring your diet: replace regular salt with sea salt, eat a couple of fresh apples in the morning, wash them down with porridge cooked in water, give up black coffee and tea, drink fresh juices, and it is advisable to completely give up eating yeast dough products.
Activated carbon
Regular activated carbon perfectly adsorbs all harmful substances. The dosage is easy to calculate - 1 tablet per ten kilograms of weight, for example, with a weight of 60 kg, you only need 6 tablets. You need to take the carbon two or three times a day, for a course of up to seven days.
Calcium gluconate
It is believed that a lack of calcium in the body can increase the manifestation of allergic reactions. Treatment of allergies with folk remedies involves taking regular calcium gluconate in a dosage of 1 tablet per 20 kilograms of weight. For example, with a weight of 60 kilograms, you need to take three calcium tablets at once, 2-3 times a day, a course of a week, then a break. Usually a week-long course significantly alleviates the symptoms, and repetition is not required.
Traditional treatment of allergies involves treatment with non-traditional medicinal preparations, that is, herbs and other improvised means. There are a great many recipes for curing the disease - the main thing is to know whether they are suitable for a particular person, whether they cause a negative reaction of the body, since the treatment can bring harm rather than benefit.
Treating allergies with folk remedies does not mean quick and safe relief from allergic reactions. As with any other treatment, you need to stock up on a certain amount of patience and faith in the result. In addition, it should be remembered that the given recipes, despite their simplicity and universality, still require a reasonable approach, taking into account the individual characteristics of the allergy sufferer's body.
