Pain in the bladder can testify both to problems with the bladder itself, and the violation of the work of neighboring organs, such as the kidneys, ureter, genitals, coccyx. In chronic diseases, pain in the bladder is permanent, often painful urination. Pain arising during urination, indicates an acute disease of the bladder. Diagnosis of the disease is made if complaints of pain in the bladder are the same as with cystitis, but there is no inflammation and pyuria. In this case, the patient is referred for cystoscopy.
If, during urination, a penis hurts in men, and in particular his head, this indicates stones in the bladder. The urethra is irritated and inflamed due to salts or stones emerging through it, which is the cause of the pain.
Pain in the bladder not associated with urination
In the case of pain during walking, riding, physical work, it indicates the stones and is explained by their movement into the cavity of the bladder. Pain acute is undulating. Also, in the presence of stones, in the urine there is an increased amount of erythrocytes and leukocytes.
It is not rare that pain in the bladder is caused by prostate adenoma, as well as urethral stricture. In such cases, the patient experiences urinary retention and painful acute pain. The bladder protrudes prominently above the pelvis. Patients report that they can not urinate with the strongest urge. In the case of urination, the pain briefly subsides. Intensive pain in the bladder and lower abdomen, unbearable urge to urinate, which can not be done, appearing blood droplets instead of urine during straining, these are all signs of a bladder rupture. And in this case, immediate surgical intervention is required.
