Hypodidrosis - inadequate sweating.

Hypohydrosis due to skin lesions is rarely clinically significant. The disease develops in places of skin lesions [trauma, infection (leprosy) or inflammation] or due to atrophy of the glands of connective tissue (with scleroderma, systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's syndrome). Hypohydrosis can be caused by the use of drugs, especially with anticholinergic properties, as well as diabetic neuropathy and various congenital syndromes. Heat stroke causes inadequate sweating, but this is a CNS reaction, not skin. A fever of unknown origin is rare.

Diagnosis of hypohydrosis is carried out clinically.

In the treatment of hypohidrosis, cooling (air conditioning) is used.
