Oatmeal is a must-have for a healthy diet. This hearty, tasty porridge is healthy in any form: with milk, honey, jam, nuts. And oatmeal with fruit is the number one weight loss dish, combining the benefits of both ingredients. A less-processed product is more beneficial than muesli or rolled oats.
Studies show that oats have beneficial effects on gastrointestinal health (Anderson and Bridges 1993; Wrick 1993, 1994; Stark and Madar 1994) and have anticancer effects (Oku 1994; Salminen et al. 1998; Gallaher 2000). The dietary fiber, β-glucans, functional proteins, lipid and starch components, phytochemicals, phenolic compounds, alkyl ester conjugates (Daniels and Martin 1967), ether and ester glycerides (Collins 1986), anthranilic acids, and avenanthramides (AVAs) (Dimberg et al. 1993) present in oat grain have high levels of antioxidant activity. [ 2 ]
Oatmeal has anti-inflammatory and antihistamine activity. Avenanthramides, a component of whole oat grain, can inhibit nuclear factor-kappa-B activity and the release of proinflammatory cytokines and histamine, well-known key mechanisms in the pathophysiology of inflammatory dermatoses, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, drug rashes and other conditions. [ 3 ], [ 4 ]
- Oatmeal contains two types of fiber: soluble, which stimulates intestinal motility, and insoluble, which restores microflora.

It has antioxidant, anti-allergenic, anti-tumor, anti-inflammatory, hypocholesterolemic, antimicrobial, laxative, antihypertensive, immunomodulatory properties. Kefir can modulate the intestinal microbiota. [ 5 ], [ 6 ], [ 7 ]
Fruits for weight loss are interesting as a source of dietary fiber, vitamins, and enzymes.
- Kefir with fruits for weight loss is used for short-term diets to correct the figure and effectively cleanse the digestive tract. In any case, for the duration of the diet, you should give up all sweets, salt, flour products and alcoholic beverages.
The three-day diet recommends the following regime: eat 1 to 1.5 kg of fruit or berries during the day and drink from a liter to two liters of fermented milk drink. The diets are easy to tolerate, without the painful hunger and weakness that are typical of many other weight loss methods.
Fruit salad for weight loss
A dietary fruit salad for weight loss is especially useful in the first half of the day - for breakfast or a snack after lunch. Berries are taken fresh, not frozen, seasoned (or not seasoned) with unsweetened yogurt. Combinations of fruits are all sorts, with the exception of fruits that are not suitable for weight loss.
- For the salad, take from three to six or more ingredients. The combination is an acquired taste.
Popular ingredients are apples, kiwi, pineapple, orange or grapefruit, blueberries, raspberries. If citrus fruits cause allergies, they are not included in the recipe. A standard portion is prepared, without excesses and fatty additives.
A classic dietary ration is a salad with pineapple. If the fat burner does not irritate the stomach with its acid, then it can be combined with chicken, preparing not just a snack, but a full-fledged hearty meal. Boiled meat and fresh pineapple are cut into pieces, poured with bio-yogurt and laid out on lettuce leaves.

Nutritionists claim that anyone losing weight can eat fresh cottage cheese in the evening with a clear conscience without the risk of ruining the expected weight loss result. At the same time, the combination of the named products in a dietary sense is inappropriate for at least two reasons:
- additives greatly increase caloric content;

Eating cottage cheese with honey, dried or fresh fruits or nuts for breakfast, a person uses the energy received with benefit: for work, study, other active activities. While in the evening, calories will not be spent, instead they will comfortably settle down in their favorite places, from where they are actually called upon by dietary measures.

Some believe that it is not later than 5 or 6 p.m. Others reasonably object that a busy person can finally eat normally only after 6 p.m. Therefore, those losing weight are allowed to eat in the evening, up until 9 p.m. But here there are no indulgences. Eat up to 150 g of the product to suppress hunger, but not overload the stomach. Because, according to nutritionists, falling asleep half-starved is harmful to the body.
Buckwheat with fruits for weight loss
Buckwheat has unique nutritional and dietary properties. Buckwheat porridges are present in the menu of children, adults and the elderly, patients of various departments, as well as people who care about their health and figure. Among such people, buckwheat mono-diet is especially popular, as well as buckwheat with fruits for weight loss.
Buckwheat has a wide range of health benefits: prebiotic, neuroprotective, [ 9 ] antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antitumor, and antioxidant. These beneficial effects have been attributed in part to the presence of flavonoids, rutin, and quercetin. [ 10 ] Buckwheat has been reported to reduce hyperlipidemia (2% to 74%), [ 11 ] blood pressure, and improve weight regulation, may have beneficial effects on diabetes by reducing postprandial blood glucose levels, and has potential therapeutic applications for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. [ 12 ]
Buckwheat has an anticarcinogenic effect due to the content of naphodianthrone fagopyrin. [ 13 ] Samel and Witte (1994) also suggested that fagopyrin is a potent inhibitor of protein tyrosine kinase (PTK), which can control the proliferative process of cancer cells and, therefore, has a high anticarcinogenic effect. [ 14 ]
- The fruit-buckwheat method is convenient because you don't have to suffer much from hunger. The satiety is provided by additional ingredients of the diet - vegetables.
The point is that the listed components should be present on the table at every meal. Such a regime with fruits for weight loss allows you to lose from 2 to 4 kg, and most importantly - not to gain them again. At the same time, it is possible to effectively cleanse the body of ballast and toxic waste.
Nuances of the diet:
- do not salt or sweeten buckwheat;
- drink clean water and herbal tea;
- To replenish the sugar needed for brain function, drink a cup of water with a spoonful of honey once a day.

We have heard about the fruit called pomelo (or pomelo) relatively recently. They resemble grapefruits, but are larger and greenish in color. Like other citrus fruits, they are rich in pectins, vitamins, essential oils, and minerals. Pomelo extract has an antiglycosytic effect and prevents diabetic complications and aging. [ 15 ] The fruit increases performance and tone, relieves depression and fatigue. Research has shown that pomelo peel extracts have an anti-metabolic effect, prevent weight gain, reduce fasting blood glucose levels, liver lipid levels, and improve glucose tolerance and insulin resistance. [ 16 ]
There are pink, red, white varieties of pomelo. There are fruits up to 10 kg in weight, with a diameter of 30 cm.

Probably, the truth, as always, is in the middle, and another piece of advice is to listen to your body and meet it halfway in the dietary dosage of pomelo.
Useful properties of kiwi for weight loss

The fruit, the unique properties of which were highly valued by ancient healers, is considered by modern nutritionists to be one of the effective fruits for weight loss. Proper consumption of pomegranates helps to strengthen health and improve appearance. Including pomegranate in the diet allows you to accelerate weight loss without stress, from 5 kg per week.
Entire groups of vitamins and minerals, unique amino acids and antioxidants, tannins and building components make the fruit useful not only in the dietary sense of the word, but also as an ingredient in the everyday menu.
Pomegranate juice is a polyphenol-rich fruit juice with high antioxidant capacity. Limited studies have shown that pomegranate juice has significant antiatherogenic, antiplatelet, [ 18 ] antioxidant, antihypertensive, anti-inflammatory, and anticarcinogenic effects. [ 19 ], [ 20 ]
Pomegranate has antimicrobial and anticarcinogenic properties. Daily consumption of pomegranate juice for 2 weeks by patients with hypertension reduces ACE activity by 36% and systolic blood pressure by 5%. Long-term consumption of pomegranate juice (for 3 years) by patients with carotid artery stenosis reduces systolic blood pressure by 12%, reduces the overall intima-media thickness of the carotid artery by up to 30%. [ 21 ]
The antioxidant potential of pomegranate juice is higher than that of red wine and green tea. Pomegranate juice reduces oxidative stress of macrophages, the number of free radicals and lipid peroxidation. [ 22 ]
Pomegranate extracts may be used in the treatment of dental conditions, bacterial infections and antibiotic resistance, cerebral ischemia in children, male infertility, Alzheimer's disease, arthritis and obesity.[ 23 ]

It would seem that sweet aromatic pears do not look like a dietary product. In fact, a pear variety of fruit diet exists, and is not limited to pears.

In fact, it is an oilseed crop, Jatropha curcas,[ 27 ] which is not suitable for food production.[ 28 ] Jatropha curcas is a drought-tolerant perennial plant. In recent years, jatropha has become known as a source of biodiesel; in addition, the plant also has several medicinal uses. Most parts of this plant are used to treat various human and veterinary diseases. It serves as a disinfectant for oral infections in children, has anti-cancer properties, and is used externally against skin diseases and ulcers in livestock. The leaves contain apigenin, vitexin, and isovitexin, which make them useful against malaria, rheumatic pain, and muscle pain. Antibiotic activity of jatropha has been observed against organisms including Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Its seeds contain some chemical compounds, including curcin (an alkaloid), which make it unsuitable for normal human consumption. The roots are known to contain an antidote against snake venom.
