Vessels of the facial skin

The vascular system of the skin is very complex. But it is necessary to say a few words about it, since many cosmetic products and procedures are aimed at "stimulating blood circulation", "toning and strengthening the skin vessels", etc. A number of cosmetic defects have a vascular origin, for example, spider veins, stagnant spots after inflammation, "red nose", etc.

The skin is a collection of living cells (epidermal cells, dermal cells, and subcutaneous fat cells), intercellular substances - products of cell activity (e.g. collagen, hyaluronic acid, intercellular lipids of the stratum corneum), and nonliving structures (horny scales). It takes time to affect living cells, since living systems change slowly. A rapid change in a living system means either destruction or a state of shock.

However, the structure consisting of non-living elements, i.e. the stratum corneum, can be changed. For example, it can be saturated with moisture so that it swells, it can be greased so that it becomes smoother, it can be partially exfoliated, etc. All this will lead to a rapid and noticeable change in the appearance of the skin - sometimes in a matter of minutes.

Changes that living structures undergo are more difficult to notice, since they occur over weeks, months, or even years. Therefore, in order to understand what a particular cosmetic product actually does for the skin, its effects must be divided into two groups - the effects on skin cells and the effects on the stratum corneum. It must be said that this is a very difficult task. And yet, it can be largely solved if you know how deeply certain cosmetic ingredients can penetrate the skin, how they will act on the various skin structures they encounter along the way, and how certain changes in the inner life of the skin are reflected in its appearance.

Treatment of spider veins on the face

The most offensive thing, especially for a woman, is when spider veins appear not only on the legs, but also on the face. There are folk remedies that can make spider veins that have already appeared invisible and significantly slow down the formation of new ones.

Fruit and vegetable masks

Apricot mask: apply the pulp of 4 apricots to the skin of the face for 10-15 minutes. It is better to remove the mask with a damp cotton pad or napkin, then wipe again with lotion.

Peach mask: Divide a peach in half. Wipe your face with 1 half of the peach. After 20 minutes, wash off the peach juice with water. It is advisable to apply the mask in the morning, 1 hour before leaving the house.

Banana mask: mash a banana and apply the resulting gruel to your face. After 20 minutes, remove the mask with a cotton pad soaked in cool water.

Cherry-currant mask: to prepare it, you will need to squeeze the juice from the specified berries. Soak gauze or clean cotton cloth in the resulting juice. Apply to the face and wait 10 minutes. Then wash off the mask with water at room temperature.

Cucumber mask: you will need freshly squeezed juice of 1 medium-sized cucumber and gauze folded in several layers. The gauze soaked in cucumber juice is applied to the face. After 20 minutes, the face is rinsed with water.
