Pharmacodynamics
Loratadine tablets for dermatitis perform antipruritic, antiallergic antiexudative function. Pharmacodynamics of the drug is as follows - it inhibits the release of histamine from mast cells, as well as leukotriene C4. Selectively blocks H1-histamine receptors, and also does not allow histamine to affect blood vessels and smooth muscles, reduces the level of capillary permeability, reduces exudation, erythema and itching. The antiallergic effect begins half an hour after taking the tablet, reaches maximum activity after 8-12 hours, and lasts for 24 hours in total. The drug does not affect the central nervous system, does not have a sedative or anticholinergic function.
Allertek tablets are an antiallergic antihistamine drug. They contain cetirizine, which is included in the group of histamine competitor antagonists - it blocks H1-histamine receptors and has almost no antiserotonin and anticholinergic effects. It is capable of performing antiallergic, antiexudative and antipruritic functions. Cetirizine also affects the first stage of allergy, dependent on histamines, reduces the spread of inflammatory cells, inhibits the process of secretion of mediators that appear already in a late allergic reaction. The drug makes capillary permeability less, removes spasms that occur in smooth muscles, prevents the appearance of swelling in tissues. Therapeutic doses do not have a sedative effect on the body. The drug begins to act after 20 minutes (half of patients) or after 1 hour (in 95% of patients). The effect of the effect lasts 24 hours.
Pharmacokinetics
The drug Loratadine is completely and quickly absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract, reaches TСmax in 1.3-2.5 hours, when taking food, this process can be slowed down by another 1 hour. In elderly people, Cmax becomes 50% higher. The absorption of the drug becomes 40% faster if it is taken with food; the active metabolite also increases by 15%. The connection with plasma proteins is 97%. Css of loratadine, as well as the metabolite in plasma, occurs on the 5th day after administration of the drug. The drug does not pass through the blood-brain barrier.
Tablets for dermatitis Cetirizine are absorbed quite quickly. In plasma, their maximum concentration occurs after 1 hour. The absorption rate is not affected at all by the fact of taking the drug with food, although its speed is slightly reduced - the maximum concentration is reached 1 hour longer. The tablets are metabolized in small quantities, forming a pharmacologically inactive metabolite. This is how they differ from other H1-histamine receptor blockers, which are metabolized in the liver. The drug (60%) is excreted through the kidneys unchanged after 96 hours. Another 10% is excreted through the intestines.
The drug Allertek has the following pharmacokinetics. It is quickly absorbed through the gastrointestinal tract, reaching the maximum concentration after half an hour/hour. Food intake does not affect absorption rates, although its rate is slightly reduced. The drug forms an inactive metabolite, since it is poorly metabolized in the liver. It is excreted through the kidneys (about 70%), usually unchanged. With a single dose, half-life occurs in about 10 hours. In 5-6 hours, half-life is eliminated from the body of children 2-12 years old.
Names of tablets for dermatitis
The most effective and popular drugs that help to cope with dermatitis are still antihistamine tablets, which cope well with the external signs of skin diseases, remove irritation and itching, as well as swelling. Such drugs have only one side effect - they cause severe drowsiness.
Antihistamine tablets for dermatitis of the new generation no longer have such a disadvantage, in addition, they are not addictive, so they can be taken for a long time. Among modern drugs, the most effective are Zyrtec, Claritin, Loratadine, and Cetirizine.
For dermatitis, you can also take corticosteroids - these drugs contain hormonal substances, and in addition, they provide a high-quality anti-inflammatory effect. But this medicine cannot be taken for a long time, as they can cause skin atrophy. Names of tablets for dermatitis (corticosteroids): Dexamethasone, Prednisolone, Flumethasone, and Fluticasone.
Also, when treating dermatitis, you can’t do without immunosuppressants. The substances included in these drugs completely suppress the immune system, thereby helping the body to minimize the skin reaction. Among this group of drugs, the most effective are Myelosan, Chlorbutin, and Cyclophosphamide.
Tablets for seborrheic dermatitis
Seborrheic dermatitis occurs on the scalp and facial hair when there is excessive colonization of the fungus malassezia furfur.
Antihistamines are very helpful for seborrheic dermatitis. These medications effectively relieve redness, itching, and swelling. They should be taken for no more than a week (maximum 10 days). Antihistamines are chloropyramine, clemastine, loratadine, which remove inflammation and relieve itching.
Seborrheic dermatitis can be treated with a variety of pharmacological agents. There are tablets for seborrheic dermatitis of various types and drug groups:
- Antihistamines - Citrine, Telfast, Loratadine;
- Complexes of minerals and multivitamins, including Merz dragees, nicotinic acid, Multitabs, Alphabet, vitamins B2 and A, and Perfectil.
If you start treatment in a timely manner, take pills for dermatitis and follow the doctor's recommendations, the disease will pass quite quickly. It should be noted that dermatitis on the body and face is cured faster than seborrheic dermatitis of the head - its hairy part. Here, longer therapy is needed.
Antifungal tablets for seborrheic dermatitis
In some cases, antifungal tablets are used to treat seborrheic dermatitis. They contain nizoral, lamifen, orungal.
Antifungal tablets for seborrheic dermatitis Orungal is an antimycotic used to destroy infections caused by pathogenic fungi. These can be yeast-like, yeast, mold forms. The drug has a fairly wide spectrum of action.
Terbinafine is an allylamine that works well against fungal parasites that affect hair, skin, and nails. It effectively destroys dermatophytes.
Exifin tablets for dermatitis include terbinafine hydrochloride (a synthetic substance included in the allylamine group) and have a broad spectrum of antifungal activity. Low concentrations of terbinafine are capable of exerting a fungicidal effect on dermatophytes, as well as mold and dimorphic fungi. Terbinafine usually exerts a fungicidal or fungistatic effect on yeast fungi. This drug is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, nails and hair caused by dermatophytes.
Tablets for atopic dermatitis
Dermatitis is an inflammatory skin disease. There are several types of this disease - seborrheic, atopic, contact, etc. The most common is atopic dermatitis.

Clarotadine tablets are indicated for atopic dermatitis. Contraindicated for children under 2 years of age. During treatment with these tablets, you should not engage in potentially dangerous and risky activities that require rapid psychomotor reactions and high concentration.
Tablets for allergic dermatitis
Allergic dermatitis is a rather complex disease, and it is quite a difficult task to cure it completely. But its symptoms can not only be eliminated, but also prevented in advance. Treatment requires a comprehensive approach.
It is very important to properly and carefully care for your skin, as well as follow a diet - this will help prevent the appearance of the disease or its return.
But sometimes even hygiene and diet do not help to save from exacerbation of allergic dermatitis. In this case, additional treatment methods are used - tablets for dermatitis. Doctors often prescribe antihistamines to relieve itching. If an extensive infection develops, the patient may also be prescribed antibiotics.
To remove swelling, stop itching and reduce infiltration, the doctor may prescribe frequently used tablets for allergic dermatitis - these are Telfast, Claritin, Tavegil, and Claritidine. These drugs are also included in the group of antihistamines
It should be noted that the newest antihistamines do not have side effects such as absent-mindedness and drowsiness.
Tablets for solar dermatitis
A skin disease called solar dermatitis is classified as a type of photodermatosis. In this disease, the main cause of irritation is sun rays, which have a negative effect on the skin.
Tablets for solar dermatitis belong to the group of anti-inflammatory drugs - their systemic use allows you to quickly and effectively get rid of the manifestations of photodermatosis. Among them are indomethacin and acetylsalicylic acid - they should be taken after meals. To avoid side effects that affect the gastrointestinal tract, along with anti-inflammatory tablets, you should take drugs from the group of proton pump inhibitors, such as omeprazole.
If severe itching is observed with solar dermatitis, doctors prescribe patients to take antihistamines. A qualified specialist will be able to select from a large number of different drugs of this type the best option for the patient - good tablets for dermatitis.
Immunosuppressive therapy is prescribed only in cases of very severe photodermatosis. Thanks to cytostatic drugs, such as chloroquine, inflammation can be quickly eliminated. In addition, they have almost no side effects.

Using Dermatitis Tablets During Pregnancy
The main task in the process of treating dermatitis is to remove redness and inflammation, as well as reduce itching. It is very important to use medications that are completely safe for the health of both mother and baby. Steroid ointments or creams, as well as moisturizers, are usually used in treatment.
How should dermatitis tablets be used during pregnancy? The doctor prescribes steroid tablets only in extreme cases. Such drugs should be taken for a short period of time and in a small dosage. Prednisolone dermatitis tablets can be prescribed during pregnancy if there is a serious exacerbation.
Women of childbearing age should be advised of the potential risk to their fetus, as corticosteroids can cross the placenta. Newborns whose mothers took corticosteroids during pregnancy should be closely monitored, as there is a risk of adrenal insufficiency in the fetus and newborn.
The medication should not be taken for a long time or in large doses. Breastfeeding women are advised to either not take the drug (especially if large doses are prescribed) or stop breastfeeding. This precaution is due to the fact that corticosteroids can penetrate into breast milk and also suppress the production and growth of endogenous corticosteroids. For a newborn, this can have extremely negative consequences.
Pregnant women suffering from dermatitis note that the drugs recommended to them are not always able to provide the necessary effect. In this case, the difficulty is that the most effective drugs for the treatment of dermatitis during pregnancy should not be taken.

It is necessary to prescribe with caution to patients with chronic renal failure (the dosage must be adjusted individually), as well as chronic liver diseases. It is also not recommended for elderly patients - due to a possible decrease in glomerular filtration.
Allertek tablets for dermatitis have the following contraindications: should not be taken during pregnancy, by children under 6 years of age, during breastfeeding, or if you are hypersensitive to the components of the drug. It should be prescribed with caution to patients with severe and moderate chronic renal failure (the dosage should be adjusted individually), as well as chronic liver disease.
