The past century was marked as a century of scientific progress, but over the last 15 years of the 21st century, even more progressive developments in the technical plan have occurred, and below we will consider the developments of scientists that may become a reality in the coming decades.

Killer robots are designed to destroy the enemy and equipment. Today, the development of robotics is quite rapid, but the first combat robots were used by the largest armies of the world several decades ago, for example, combat platforms.

A personal intelligent assistant is no longer something fantastic today. Current systems - assistants have reached the highest level of development, and even without intelligence, after a detailed analysis of the situation, the systems give good recommendations.

Dream transmission – despite the fact that it sounds unrealistic, even in the modern world, is already possible today with the help of special equipment. The main problem for scientists now is the technical development, the level of which does not allow to reproduce a dream as realistically as possible, i.e. as brightly and colorfully as the sleeper himself sees it.

Gadget implants – this development contradicts modern morality, since miniature devices are implanted into the human body. But on the other hand, such devices could significantly ease the lives of people, especially people with various injuries.

Augmented reality is a technology that already exists. With the help of another reality, according to scientists, it would be possible to solve a number of different problems that relate primarily to household and economic activities. In addition to entertainment, this technology could be successfully used in the educational process.

Digital contact lenses are still just a project, and to date no team of specialists has managed to create something similar, but several companies continue to actively work in this direction and, perhaps, in a couple of decades, such lenses will be widely used.

Exoskeletons allow a person to surpass their physical capabilities by hundreds, if not thousands of times – to run faster than any predator, to lift thousands of kilograms, etc. Today, there are already several prototypes, by the way, quite successful. Of course, the developments that exist today are far from those described in science fiction books or films, but a start has been made and exoskeletons are undergoing trial tests in the military and space industries.

Sensory skin will allow a person to experience any tactile sensation without harm to health and life, the idea itself is not bad, but among researchers this direction is not popular and today nothing similar has been created yet.

Medical 3D printing is quite real today, but this technology is in its first stage of development. Over the past few years, transplant operations have been carried out using unique printing technology. Now scientists are actively working in this direction and trying to print entire organs from living cells.

The elixir of youth is a remedy that has been tried to be found for many centuries. Man does not want to die and tries in every way to postpone this hour, even for a short period. But, despite incredible progress, a miracle cure for aging has not been invented, but the 21st century is not over yet.
