American authorities could not help but react to Christian reports of the coming end of the world on May 21 and published instructions in case of the onset of the "Zombie Apocalypse".

The instructions were published on his blog by the assistant surgeon general of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Ali Khan, AFP reports.

"You can giggle all you want, but when the zombie apocalypse actually happens, you'll be glad you happened to read this guide, and maybe you'll remember a few more general emergency instructions," Khan writes.

The instructions say that you should always have a special suitcase at home with a supply of water, non-perishable food and essential items to survive at least the first two days after the disaster without leaving home. It also recommends thinking through escape routes in advance and discussing a meeting place with relatives in case of communication failures. "If zombies start wandering the streets, our department will conduct an investigation, as in the case of the spread of any other infection," Khan concludes.

Christian preacher Harold Camping has calculated that the end of the world will occur on May 21 at 6:00 p.m. West Coast time. The population of the United States has been warned about this for several months by advertising posters that indicate the name of the radio station Family Radio, which belongs to Camping.
