Molecular biologists are making tremendous progress in their research work, and soon a 3D cell may appear, which will mark the beginning of a new era in medicine and help to make new discoveries.

One of the authors of the article on molecular biology was Ilya Wesker, professor at the US State University of Research, located in Kansas, he explained that cells are the basis of life on our planet. Recently, specialists have managed to make a unique discovery and understand how cells are arranged at the molecular level. A new study can be called a breakthrough in biomolecular modeling and researchers are moving to larger systems, even to such as an entire cell.

According to Professor Wesker, now a team of scientists is working closely on this significant event, which helped scientists move from modeling some processes to modeling an entire cell.

In an article published in one of the scientific publications, scientists described several options that are combined when creating a three-dimensional model of the cell. Also in the article there are studies on the study of biological networks, the development of 3D cells, based on automatically created data obtained experimentally, the creation of a complex of proteins, as well as predicting the behavior between proteins, etc.

Professor Wesker noted that most of the technologies needed to conduct research are available, now scientists need to simply assemble them and connect them. This is the most difficult stage, because understanding the basic mechanisms of the cell is at an initial level. Despite all the complexity, the task posed to the scientists is quite feasible and the research is progressing rather quickly - the scientists not only begin to understand how the cell is arranged, but also try to simulate it.

Three-dimensional models of cells have a number of advantages, according to Professor Wesker. First of all, we are talking about a fundamental understanding of the structure of the cell. Wesker argues that it is impossible to understand something without creating a model. Also, from a practical point of view, a new study will help scientists understand the secret mechanisms of the development of certain diseases, the effects of drugs, and this, in turn, will lead to a breakthrough in science and medicine.

A three-dimensional model of the cell will help scientists in the development of medicines, which today go a long way, ranging from development, laboratory work to pharmacy shelves.

A similar method of chemical modeling is used by one of the British companies, which creates medicines for various serious diseases, in the treatment of which, to date, there are difficulties. British specialists intend to use a powerful computer that will develop effective medications on the basis of a training model with virtually no adverse reactions. British specialists plan to use the capabilities of DGX-1 computers from Nvidia, which differ in their power.
