In Germany, a group of scientists has proven that fatty foods are necessary for people, as they contain fatty acids that improve the functioning of most organs and protect against the development of a number of diseases. The researchers published the results of their work in one of the well-known scientific publications in Germany. Previously, specialists had already proven that fatty acids should be included in the human diet, but German researchers have found a new beneficial property of such substances for the human body; as it turns out, eating fatty foods can help prevent the development of mental illnesses.

In their experiment, the scientists divided the volunteers into two equal groups (40 people in each). In the first group, the subjects were allowed to eat fatty foods high in omega-3 fatty acids, while in the second group, they were allowed to eat everything except fatty foods.

The experiment lasted three months and, having received the results of the experiments, the scientists were amazed.

Experts have found that fatty foods reduce the risk of developing schizophrenia, depression, psychosis and other mental disorders.

In the first group, where volunteers ate fatty foods, mental disorders were detected in only two participants, while in the second, 11 people suffered from psychosis.

It is fatty foods, according to experts, that can significantly reduce the risk of mental disorders. In addition, scientists noted that adding omega-3 fatty acids to the diet helps strengthen the nervous system and the human psyche, as well as prevent the development of depression.

Experts recommend that if you are prone to mental disorders, you should include more fatty foods in your diet, in particular fish and flaxseed oil.

Experts from Germany are confident that a lack of fatty acids in the body can negatively affect the psyche and provoke various deviations, some quite serious.

A large amount of fatty acids is contained in flaxseed and flaxseed oil, leafy greens, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, soybeans, beans, oat and wheat germ, fatty fish. According to experts, only 100 grams of lightly salted fish contains a daily dose of fatty acids.

In recent years, experts have focused their attention on the study of mental disorders, as the number of patients with one or another mental disorder has increased.

Several months ago, in Illinois, experts discovered during experiments that fatty foods lead to a decrease in the speed of brain function in children.

Scientists analyzed the condition of children aged 7 to 10 years, specialists wanted to find out the ability to switch attention and change the decision in the process of changing the requirement. As a result, it was found that children whose diet contained a lot of saturated fats had a reduced reaction and cognitive flexibility.

During the experiment, specialists took into account the children's IQ level, age, weight, and gender. This experiment was the first to prove that a child's diet affects cognitive abilities.
