A group of scientists from Russia, who for a long time were engaged in the development of a new drug for the treatment of toxic liver cirrhosis, began to investigate the side effect of this drug. Some time ago, the drug was called a "pill for old age", so the specialists, not waiting for the completion of clinical studies, decided to start studying the unusual properties of the drug.

The researchers reported that the results were more than positive and exceeded all possible expectations. The main property of the new drug, with which it will be possible to cure liver cirrhosis, is the launching of restorative processes and mechanisms in the human body. The use of the drug causes an increased release of stem cells, which stimulate the restoration of blood cells, tissues and internal organs in general. Studies of the drug, which were conducted by scientists earlier, showed that the drug can cure toxic liver cirrhosis. For several weeks, specialists conducted experiments on small rodents, and the experimental results were positive: the liver cells of white mice were completely restored. Until recently, toxic liver cirrhosis was considered an almost incurable and very serious disease.

Cirrhosis of the liver is a dangerous disease characterized by the replacement of the liver parenchymal tissues with connective tissues. The liver, which is affected by cirrhosis, looks bumpy, rough, in addition. It significantly increases in size. In developed countries cirrhosis of the liver is one of the most common diseases, which often leads to the death of the patient. Most often, toxic cirrhosis occurs due to prolonged intoxication of the body with alcohol or medicines, food poisons. The inflammatory reaction that occurs in the affected cells of the liver leads to their gradual withering away.

Toxic liver cirrhosis is a condition where toxins entering the body together with food, drinks, are not neutralized by diseased liver cells and can not be excreted from the body. In this case, all the toxins go directly to the blood and affect both the nervous system and other cells of the body. Toxic cirrhosis can be caused by the following factors: abundance of too fatty foods and an unbalanced diet, chronic diseases of the internal organs, alcohol abuse, prolonged starvation, use of drugs or substances that are equated with poisons.

The head of the company, which will produce a new medicine against cirrhosis of the liver, does not yet state that the drug is able to prevent human aging. Despite this, the press has already called the drug "pills from old age", since the restoring properties have become known. At the end of 2013, clinical trials of the new drug will officially begin with the participation of several volunteer patients.

Until this time, experiments were conducted only on animals and the results were struck by scientists: the drug is capable of restoring affected cells of the liver and, possibly, of the pancreas. After the experts made sure that the drug is not dangerous to humans, it was decided to conduct experiments on volunteers who suffer from toxic liver cirrhosis. In the case of their healing, scientists will conduct further experiments that will prove that the drug can be used in the fight against aging.
