In Germany, scientists have managed to make a real breakthrough in the field of HIV treatment, which, by the way, has long been expected from scientists. Specialists have managed to develop a drug that not only effectively suppresses the main manifestations of this disease, but also destroys the virus in the body. By the way, previously all scientists agreed that it is impossible to destroy the virus.

Now, the discovery of Hamburg scientists allows HIV patients around the world to hope for a complete recovery. German experts conducted many experiments before they were able to find a way to extract certain cells from the blood affected by the immunodeficiency virus. Based on their research, the scientists developed a drug called Brec1, which helps against the most common form of the immunodeficiency virus.

Now, after scientists have managed to create a cure for HIV, there is hope for successfully ridding humanity of one of the most terrible diseases that has ever affected humanity.

Experts noted that the effectiveness of the new drug has already been confirmed by experiments with laboratory rodents and clinical trials. During the studies, scientists injected rodents with cells infected with the immunodeficiency virus, which were subsequently successfully removed. As a result, all animals were successfully cured of HIV infection.

However, this treatment method has not yet been tested on humans, and experts doubt its effectiveness. However, scientists are planning to conduct trials on human volunteers in the near future and hope that the results will be as successful as previous tests on laboratory animals.

It is worth noting that recently, American specialists provided a report on the successful testing of a drug against HIV. The results of the work of scientists from the USA became known at the beginning of this year - specialists have already conducted the first stages of research of a drug called VRC01, which was developed specifically to combat infection by specialists from the National University of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

According to the information received, 23 patients with HIV took part in clinical trials of the new drug, most of whom received antiretroviral therapy, and 8 people received virtually no special drugs.

The participants were divided into 2 groups, one group was given the drug as an injection twice with a 28-day break, the second group received treatment with the new drug only once. As a result, scientists found that VRC01 is well tolerated by patients and causes virtually no side effects. Scientists also managed to establish that, against the background of treatment, antibodies are produced in the body that help cope with the virus and not harm the general condition. Experts found that after one injection, the virus content in the blood of the experiment participants decreased by 10 times.

Now, based on the data obtained, scientists are preparing to conduct new stages of research on the drug VRC01 in order to eliminate errors and confirm the effectiveness and safety of its use for humans.

As you can see, scientists are not standing still and are making progress in the field of HIV treatment, and perhaps, in the near future, specialists will be able to offer truly effective treatment to patients with a disappointing HIV diagnosis.
