Indications Venoruton gel
Venoruton gel is prescribed for pain and swelling caused by chronic venous insufficiency. Existing feelings of heaviness and pain in the legs, as well as swelling of the ankles. Pain caused by the consequences of sclerotic therapy, as well as pain and swelling caused by injuries - ligament damage, muscle strains and bruises.

Release form
The medicine Venoruton-gel is produced in the form of a transparent gel with a homogeneous consistency and golden-yellow color, practically odorless. The drug is packaged in aluminum tubes of forty or one hundred grams each and placed in a cardboard box, one tube with an insert-instruction. One gram of the medicine contains the active substance - hydroxyethylrutoside - twenty milligrams, as well as a certain amount of excipients - carbomer, disodium EDTA, sodium hydroxide, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.
Pharmacodynamics
The drug Venoruton-gel has angioprotective and phlebotonic effects. The active component is a derivative of rutin. It helps to reduce the pores between endothelial cells by reproducing the fibrous matrix that is located between the endothelial cells. The active substance is able to inhibit aggregation and increases the deformability of erythrocytes. All of the above has an anti-inflammatory effect.
The drug Venoruton-gel reduces the symptoms that characterize chronic venous insufficiency, namely swelling, pain, cramps, trophic disorders, varicose dermatitis and varicose ulcers. Swelling caused by traumatic tissue damage is reduced.
Pharmacokinetics
The active component is able to penetrate the epidermis at high speed and is observed in the dermis after half an hour, and after two to five hours it penetrates the subcutaneous fat. There is no concentration of the active substance in the blood.
Use during pregnancy
Venoruton gel is prohibited for use in the first trimester of pregnancy. It can be used in the second and third periods of pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Dosing and administration
The medication is used externally and is applied twice a day to the area of skin that requires treatment. Venoruton gel should be rubbed in until it is completely absorbed into the skin.

The presence of hypersensitivity to rutoside derivatives or other substances that are part of the drug Venoruton-gel.
