Anti-inflammatory drugs can be replaced with drugs that have a milder effect on the stomach. These include Meloxicam and Nimesulide. They can be used for 2 days after the onset of an attack. One tablet per day is enough to suppress an exacerbation. Medications cannot be taken in case of severe liver and kidney dysfunction, as well as in the presence of an ulcer. They can lead to the development of nausea, abdominal pain, and kidney dysfunction.
