Theobon-dithiomycocide is an antimycotic for local use.

Indications Theobonium dithiomycocide.
It is used to prevent the occurrence or treatment of existing fungal infections of the epidermis.
Release form
The drug is released in the form of an ointment, in 15 g tubes. The box contains 1 tube.
Pharmacodynamics
The medicine has a powerful fungicidal effect on Candida albicans and Candida tropicalis, as well as red trichophyton and downy microsporum. It has a bactericidal effect on gram-negative and -positive bacteria.
Theobon-dithiomycocid has low toxicity. It does not lead to the development of teratogenic, carcinogenic, mutagenic or allergic effects, and does not accumulate inside the body. The drug does not have irritating and skin-resorptive activity, and does not penetrate into the systemic circulation.
Dosing and administration
The damaged area of the skin should be treated with a thin layer of ointment, 1-2 times a day, gently rubbing and covering a small area of the epidermis around the affected area.
Erosive and weeping areas of the epidermis should be dried using gauze pads before starting the treatment procedure.
Symptoms of improvement of the condition develop after 3-5 days from the beginning of therapy. The entire treatment cycle lasts 12-14 days.
Use Theobonium dithiomycocide. during pregnancy
There is no experience of using the medication during lactation or pregnancy.
Contraindications
Contraindicated for use in the presence of severe sensitivity to the medication.

Use of the ointment may lead to the development of intolerance symptoms, including itching and hyperemia.
Storage conditions
Theobon-dithiomycocid should be stored in a dark and dry place, out of reach of children. Temperature values are a maximum of 25°C.
Shelf life
Theobon-dithiomycocid can be used within 24 months from the date of release of the pharmaceutical product.
Application for children
Theobon-dithiomycocid is prohibited for use in pediatrics, because there is no clinical experience of its use in this category of patients.
