Despite the fact that many questions concerning the causes and exacerbations of peptic ulcer (violation of the balance between aggression factors and mucosal protection factors, the role of Helicobacter pylori), as well as the treatment and prevention of the disease, have been well studied by the end of the 20th century, a high percentage of recurrence of the pathological process - the ulcer reopens. A big role in this belongs to the neuro-emotional factor. One of the leading medical theories of the XX century explains the occurrence of ulcer disease by the imbalance of the state of the central nervous system. Indeed, in practice, we note in patients a distinct relationship between the onset and subsequent exacerbations of the disease and stress (from English stress - stress). Such patients must necessarily correct the nervous processes, stabilize the central nervous system, increase stress resistance. There are various medical technologies to increase stress resistance, and therefore you should use the services of a psychologist or psychoneurologist.

As the medical experience shows, patients can independently, even with the help of gymnastic exercises, solve the problem of restoring balance in the psychoemotional sphere. Exercises are performed during the remission of peptic ulcer.

Exercise 1

Exercise improves the functioning of almost all internal organs: liver, gall bladder, spleen, stomach, pancreas, intestine, pelvic organs. In addition, this treatment posture increases the body's immunity, improves blood circulation, optimizes the blood composition, normalizes the concentration of carbon dioxide in the tissues and cells of the body.

Accept the original position

  • kneel down,
  • Heels spread apart, and the big toes touch each other,
  • sit between the heels,
  • back straight,
  • look in front of you in one point,
  • Put your palms on your knees.

(You can take another starting position: sit on the floor with your legs crossed in Turkish, put your hands on your knees, your back is straight: your torso and neck are on the same straight line.) Slightly bend over the waist so that there is no excess tension in the muscles of the back and it was convenient to sit).

Breathe freely, not deep, through your nose.

Technique of execution

  • Take your hands behind your back on your lower back, grasp your left hand with the wrist of your right hand (the woman with her right hand should clasp the wrist of her left hand);
  • take a slow, slow breath through your nose while pulling up your stomach (as if to the nose);
  • on exhalation gently tilt the trunk and head forward and down, trying to touch the forehead with the floor. When tilting, try not to tear off the buttocks from the floor;
  • stay in this position on a pause after exhalation, trying to relax all the muscles of the body as much as possible and enjoy this pose;
  • concentrate attention on the organs of the abdominal cavity: the gallbladder, liver, pancreas, intestine, feel the heat in these organs, soft blue light, turning into a saturated green and red;
  • again slowly, but not breathing deeply through the nose, slowly return to the starting position.

If in the early days, doing the exercise, you will not get your forehead to the rug, do not be upset: after a while you will have the necessary flexibility, and you will be able to master this exercise completely.

Frequency of execution

  • in the first 10 days of the exercise, perform 1 time,
  • in the next 10 days - 2 times,
  • in the third decade - 3 times.

Exercise no more than 3 times in a row.

Exercise 2

Exercise promotes harmonization of the psychoemotional state, balances the processes of excitation and inhibition in the cerebral cortex, raises the level of stress resistance and self-esteem of the individual.

Accept the original position

  • stand up straight,
  • heels and socks together,
  • hands freely lowered.

Breathe freely, not deep, through your nose.

Technique of execution

  • as much as possible relax your left leg and then vigorously hit the left heel on the left buttock, bending your leg in the knee,
  • now hit the right heel on the right buttock,
  • concentrate on the coccyx, feel the heat in this area, imagine in your mind how the golden light pulsing there, turning into red-orange.

Attention! When performing strokes, watch for a uniform, correct rhythm of strokes. In the extreme position - when you touch the heel of the buttocks - to fix this position is not necessary, just change your legs.

Frequency of execution

  • on the first day, make 5 punches with each foot,
  • in the following days, add 1 blow each leg, bringing the total number of strokes to 25.

Exercise 3

Exercise develops the ability to concentrate, focus, switch thoughts, distract from the environment. It is soothing to the central nervous system. Exercise is allowed at any time, but not immediately after eating.

First option

Take the starting position:

  • sit on a chair or on the floor in Turkish,
  • The head, neck and trunk constitute a strictly vertical line,
  • close your eyes,
  • attach the nail phalanx of the big toe of the right hand to the brow,
  • the remaining 4 fingers connect and straighten vertically,
  • the left arm lies freely on the left knee.

Breathe freely, evenly, through your nose.

Technique of execution

  • with the palm of your right hand, gently and slowly rotate around your thumb to the left and right,
  • focus on the inter-brow interval, where the so-called third eye is located,
  • mentally imagine a pinkish light, turning into purple-violet.

Frequency of execution:

  • on the first day - 1 minute,
  • As training increases, the shutdown time from the surrounding, but not exceed 10 minutes.

The second option

Take the starting position:

  • sit on a chair or on the floor in Turkish,
  • The head, neck and trunk constitute a strictly vertical line,
  • close your eyes.

Breathe freely, evenly, through your nose.

Technique of execution:

  • connect the fist, but without tension, the little finger, the ring finger and middle finger of each brush,
  • thumbs up, pointing fingers straighten and attach to the "third eye"
  • make light, massaging linear movements towards the temples simultaneously with both fingers,
  • concentrate attention on the inter-brow interval, where the so-called third eye is located, imagine a pinkish light, turning into purple-violet.

Frequency of execution:

  • on the first day - 1 minute,
  • As training increases, the shutdown time from the surrounding, but not exceed 10 minutes.

Exercise 4

Exercise develops the ability to concentrate and focus, harmonizes higher nervous centers, and also trains the vestibular apparatus and develops flexibility of the ligament-muscular apparatus.

Accept the original position

  • stand up straight and look in front of you,
  • Hands freely lower along the trunk,
  • feet at an arbitrary distance from each other.

Breathe freely, evenly, through your nose.

Technique of execution

Raise the right leg slightly from the floor, bend it at the knee and guide it outside the left leg (ideally the right foot is fixed behind the inner surface of the left shin), bend your arms in the elbows,

  • Elbow of the left hand, place on the elbow of the right arm,
  • palm joint,
  • Focus on the area of the larynx, where according to the yogic tradition the 16-petalled lotus is greenish-green. Mentally imagine flowers and feel the warmth spreading throughout the body.

Try to stay in this position, maintaining balance and enjoying the fact that you were able to perform the exercise. Do not be discouraged if your posture is far from ideal, in any case, the therapeutic effect will come.

Do the same with the left foot and right hand.

Exercise 5

Exercise develops the ability to concentrate and concentrate, regulate the processes of excitation and inhibition in the cerebral cortex, trains the vestibular apparatus, which, as is well known, is responsible for the equilibrium and is of great importance in the human immune system.

First option

Take the starting position:

  • stand up straight and look in front of you, feet at an arbitrary distance from each other,
  • hands freely lowered.

Breathe freely, calmly, through your nose.

Technique of execution:

  • lift your right foot off the floor,
  • maximally bend it in the knee,
  • put the foot on the inner surface of the left thigh with a heel to the groin, and with your fingers down,
  • connect the palms (as in prayer) and attach them to the sternum strictly in the middle and vertically,
  • Elbows elbows so that forearms are located horizontally,
  • concentrate on keeping the balance, feel the warmth and easy pleasant heat in the mediastinum, mentally imagine a red-scarlet light filling the internal organs.

Stay in this position until you feel a sense of comfort and warmth.

The second option

Take the starting position:

  • stand up straight and look in front of you,
  • feet at an arbitrary distance from each other,
  • hands freely lowered.

Breathe freely, calmly, through your nose.

Technique of execution:

  • lift your right foot off the floor,
  • maximally bend it in the knee,
  • put the foot on the inner surface of the left thigh with a heel to the groin, and with your fingers down,
  • connect the palms and direct them perpendicular to the sternum (the tips of the fingers from the sternum forward),
  • concentrate on keeping the balance, feel the warmth and easy pleasant heat in the mediastinum, mentally imagine a red-scarlet light filling the internal organs.

The third option

Take the starting position:

  • stand up straight and look in front of you,
  • feet at an arbitrary distance from each other,
  • hands freely lowered.

Breathe freely, calmly, through your nose.

Technique of execution:

  • lift your right foot off the floor,
  • maximally bend it in the knee,
  • put the foot on the inner surface of the left thigh with a heel to the groin, and with your fingers down,
  • connect the palms and pull your hands forward,
  • concentrate on keeping the balance, feel the warmth and easy pleasant heat in the mediastinum, mentally imagine a red-scarlet light filling the internal organs.

Fourth option

Take the starting position:

  • stand up straight and look in front of you,
  • feet at an arbitrary distance from each other,
  • hands freely lowered.

Breathe freely, calmly, through your nose.

Technique of execution:

  • lift your right foot off the floor,
  • maximally bend it in the knee,
  • put the foot on the inner surface of the left thigh with a heel to the groin, and with your fingers down,
  • connect the palms and extend your hands up,
  • concentrate on keeping the balance, feel the warmth in the mediastinum, mentally imagine the orange light filling the internal organs.

The next day, while performing the exercise, change the leg, but the sequence of positions of the hands with the folded palms is unchanged: palms in front of the sternum are vertical, in front of the sternum - forward, arms extended forward, extended upwards.

Other recommendations during gymnastics for peptic ulcer disease

It should be ensured that the patient does not take NSAIDs (including analgesics due to various pain syndromes or acetylsalicylic acid with a prophylactic goal). If long-term use is necessary, consider reducing the dose of the drug or replacing it with another drug that has less effect on the gastrointestinal mucosa. It must be remembered that taking NSAIDs with food does not weaken their negative effects on the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum. Replacement of NSAIDs with enteric-coated medicinal formulations also does not eliminate their undesirable effects.
