Sulfur ointment is prescribed in the classical course of demodecosis - a disease that is accompanied by a lesion of the skin by a microscopic parasitic tick - a sternum. This parasite settles in places of intense sweating, inside the sebaceous ducts and hair follicles.

Demodectic can complicate a number of concomitant pathologies - it can be acne, dermatitis or rosacea, as well as eye damage - blepharitis or conjunctivitis.

Active mite activity can provoke serious changes in the structure of the epidermal tissue. During the disease, the patient can detect rashes, acne, small ulcers, clear areas of inflammation, nodules that can cover the entire surface of the face.
