Paxen belongs to a group of antitumor drugs of plant origin. Its synonyms are: Paclitaxel actavis, Taxol, Paclitaxel, Paclitaxel Ebeve, Paclitax, Paklinor, Paclitaxel-Teva, Paklitera, Pactalik, Docetaxel, Abitaxel, Intaxel, Mitotax, Sindaxel, Taxacad, Yutaxan.

The manufacturer of the drug Paxen is Ivax Corporation (USA).

The cytostatic effect of this anticancer drug is due to the substance paclitaxel, which is obtained from the alkaloids of the bark of the yew tree (taxanes). Indications for use of Paxen, release form, pharmacodynamics of Paxen and pharmacokinetics of Paxen are completely identical to the drug-synonym Paclitaxel actavis.
