It is used for the following disorders:
- liver pathologies, including intoxication;
- pathologies affecting the gallbladder;
- hypercholesterolemia;
- skin diseases (dermatitis with dermatoses, toxic exanthema, neurodermatitis and atopic dermatitis) as an auxiliary substance.
Release form
The medicinal component is released in the form of an injection liquid, inside ampoules with a volume of 2.2 ml.
Pharmacodynamics
The hepatoprotective effect of the drug develops due to the combination of elements that are part of its composition. The unique combination of components and the technology of its production provide the drug with choleretic, detoxifying, metabolic, antioxidant, and venotonic activity.
The drug eliminates stagnant symptoms inside the portal vein and liver, and at the same time stabilizes the exchange of lipids with carbohydrates. Hepar compositum should be used for liver diseases and disorders of liver detoxification activity, as well as for lesions of internal organs and epidermis.

Dosing and administration
Often, injections of the drug are administered 1-3 times a week in the amount of 1 ampoule, intramuscularly, subcutaneously or intradermally. In acute disorders, intravenous injections can be administered (daily). The therapeutic cycle for acute forms of pathologies lasts a maximum of 5 weeks, and for chronic ones - for 1-2 months.
Gepar compositum can also be used in the form of so-called "drinking ampoules" - the liquid from the ampoule is added to 0.1 l of plain water, after which this mixture is drunk throughout the day. This procedure is carried out 1-2 times a week.
At the initial stage of therapy with homeopathic drugs, a temporary exacerbation of the manifestations of the disease is possible.
