Hepalin is a drug with hepatotropic properties.

Indications Hepalina

It is used in the following disorders:

Release form

Pharmacodynamics

Choline citrate effectively and in a short time restores indicators of choline inside the body, and at the same time improves the processes of magnesium absorption. It is an integral part of phospholipids and is involved in most biological processes. Also, choline is included (as the main element) in the polar category of phosphatidylcholine (this component helps to preserve the integrity of the cell walls). In addition, the substance is the main component of another membrane phospholipid - a component of sphingomyelin, which is also a participant in the processes of maintaining cell structure.

Sorbitol is needed in cases where additional energy is urgently needed. The second part of the substance in the form of glycogen is set aside as a spare. Isotonic liquid from sorbitol has a disaggregating effect, thereby improving tissue perfusion along with microcirculation.

Pharmacokinetics

Choline citrate is absorbed inside the small intestine. A small part of the drug undergoes intrahepatic metabolism, resulting in the formation of the components trimethylamine and betaine. Choline undergoes accumulation within all tissues of the body. Excretion occurs through the kidneys.

Sorbitol in a short time is included in the general metabolic processes occurring inside the body. At 80-90% of the disposal of the substance takes place inside the liver, and cumulation occurs in the form of glycogen.
