Fibro vein - a drug that is used in the case of varicose veins. Its active ingredient is sodium tetradecyl sulfate, which has a sclerosing effect.

A thrombus is formed in the irritation zone, closing the lumen, which is present in the area of the varicose vein enlarged. After intravenous drug administration, irritation of the venous endothelium (vein, dilated varicose veins) occurs, as a result of which parietal adhesion begins, fibrosis, as well as partial or full venous obliteration, which may be transient.
