Indications Femisol
The reason for using Femisol is to treat symptoms of premenstrual syndrome. For example, such as sleep problems, irritability, swelling, flatulence, cramping pain in the lower abdomen and lumbar region, headache.
Release form
On the pharmaceutical market, Femizol is presented in the form of convex on both sides, oval tablets, covered with a white shell. They are placed in a plastic bottle in the amount of 24 pieces. The outer packaging contains a bottle and official instructions.
Pharmacodynamics
Femizol is a combination drug characterized by the multifaceted effectiveness of all its components.
For example,
Pamabrom is a diuretic that promotes the excretion of fluid from the body;
Paracetamol is an analgesic that relieves pain;
Mepyramine is an antagonist of H1-histamine endings.
Therefore, this medication simultaneously helps to reduce such premenstrual manifestations as: flatulence, weight gain due to slower excretion of fluid from the body, cramping pain in the lower abdomen and lower back.
Pharmacokinetics
The pharmacokinetics of Femizol is also multifaceted. For example, Paracetamol is an analgesic, antipyretic drug that has the ability to suppress the excitability of the thermoregulation center, slow down the integrity of prostaglandins and inflammation mediators. Already in the gastrointestinal tract (in the upper sections), it is absorbed and distributed throughout the body. Metabolism occurs in the liver, forming metabolites - glucuronide and paracetamol sulfate. Excretion occurs through the kidneys.
Parabrom is a product of Xanthine metabolism, a diuretic with a high level of efficiency. Its action is to disrupt the absorption of Na and Cl ions in the distal sections of the nephron tubules. This helps to increase the level of glomerular filtration and increase renal blood flow. In this case, the diuretic effect is observed within the first hour after use.
Mepyramine is a derivative of ethylenediamine. Its characteristic action is an antihistamine effect. This medicinal substance reduces skin itching and exudate secretion. In addition, it is characterized by M-anticholinergic activity and sedative effect.
Due to this, the medicine promotes fluid excretion and pain syndrome reduction.
