Eucolek

The Kharkov pharmacological company JSC "Lekhim-Kharkov" (Ukraine) produces an effective drug Eucolek, the international name of which sounds like Chlorophyllipt - an excellent antimicrobial and antiseptic.

On the shelves of modern pharmacies you can find a medicine, practically from all diseases. Often used and Eucolek - an effective antimicrobial and antiseptic medicine. It is able to relieve many pathological diseases affecting the pelvic organs, especially it, is in demand in gynecology in the treatment of diseases associated with inflammation and infection of the mucous membrane of the vagina. But, despite its high therapeutic effectiveness, self-medication should not be engaged, all pharmacological preparations, including Evkolek, should be prescribed only by a qualified specialist, then you can expect to get the desired result, otherwise the likelihood of negative complications is great, which does not make the body the patient is more healthy.

Indications Eucolek

Due to their characteristics, Evcolek's indications for use are indicated by several points.

• Therapeutic measures to stop the pathology of female genital organs, caused by inflammation or infectious lesions of the pelvic region:
  • Vulvovaginitis - inflammation of the vulva and vagina. The disease is provoked by a foreign body in the vagina, the consequences of taking antibiotics, parasitic disease (enterobiosis), masturbation.
  • Kolpita - inflammatory phenomena in the vagina. Develop mainly on the background of a pronounced decrease in the hormonal function of the ovaries.
  • Vaginitis is one of the most common diseases in the gynecological area, which is caused by inflammation of the entire mucous membrane of the vagina, caused by the activity of pathogenic microbes.
  • Other similar pathologies.
• Indications for the use of Eucolek is an imbalance of the intestinal flora, and other diseases obtained due to resistant to antibiotics strains of staphylococci.

Release form

The main chemical-physical characteristics of the drug and the form of release are suppositories of a dark malachite-green hue, a spherical-oval contour approximating to a cigarette. On the surface of the suppository is allowed the presence of a slight whitish coating.

The basic active substance of the drug is a thick chlorophyllite extract. Its quantitative component in one unit, if recalculated to a low-moisture substance, is 50 mg (or 0.05 g).

Additional chemical compounds include solid fats and tween-80 or polysorbate.

Pharmacodynamics

This drug, due to its characteristics, is referred to a pharmacotherapeutic group of drugs that have antimicrobial and antiseptic properties, actively used in the treatment of gynecological pathologies. Pharmacodynamics Eucolek in its majority, is determined by the basic parameters of the active substance of the drug, which is chlorophyllipt thick, or rather, its essential oil, organic acids, tannins and other equally useful components. Such chemical compounds stimulate the work of receptors located in the mucous membrane of the genital organs. Thus, directly adjoining to a pathological site, render on it anti-inflammatory action, being thus quite good local antiseptic.

Eucolek shows a high antibacterial activity, having a bactericidal, bacteriostatic effect on parasitizing Staphylococcus strains.

Pharmacokinetics

Modern pharmacology at this stage has not explored the potential of the drug in question to be absorbed by the human body, as well as the ability to withdraw it or the products of its metabolism from the body. Therefore, the pharmacokinetics of Eucolek for this period of time have not been established.

Dosing and administration

The medicinal preparation Eucolek is used in therapy both rectally and vaginally. The method of application and dose are appointed by the attending physician, proceeding from the general picture of the disease, the severity of its course and the concomitant pathology. Predominantly for adult patients, Eucolek is prescribed one suppository administered twice a day to the patient's body. The duration of the treatment course is from 10 to 14 days.

Use Eucolek during pregnancy

To date, no in-depth studies and monitoring of the effects of the drug in question have been conducted. Therefore, the use of Eucolek during pregnancy and during the period when the patient feeds her newborn baby with breast milk is not recommended.

There is also no experience in the appointment of Eucolek in the case of therapy of diseases that have affected children's body.

Contraindications

Eucolecus is a medicinal product made from raw natural vegetable products, but this does not make it absolutely harmless and harmless. There are also contraindications to the use of Eucolets:

1. Hypersensitivity to chlorophyllipt and / or other constituent components of the drug.
2. Propensity to allergic reactions.

To exclude such manifestations, before prescribing this medication it is desirable to make a test for the patient's sensitivity to the drug. To do this, put a small amount of Eucolek on the elbow of the hand on the inside and maintain for six to eight hours, if an allergic reaction is not observed, the drug can be used in medical therapy.  

If the reaction is manifested, but the drug is still taken, the appearance of such allergy symptoms as puffiness, itching and rashes is quite real.

In this situation, it is necessary to urgently stop using the Evcolek suppository and seek counseling from your doctor who will take the examination, adjust the therapy and replace the medication.

There is also no information on the ability to influence the speed of response in the case of road transport or when working with other dangerous moving mechanisms requiring attention and a quick response. In this situation, Eucolek should be taken with great care.

Side effects Eucolek

If you follow all the recommendations voiced by the treating doctor or listed in the instructions attached to the drug, Eucolek side effects are practically not detected. In some rare cases, we can state the symptoms of an allergic reaction.

Overdose

If all the recommendations and dosages were sustained, it is very problematic to get an excess of the active drug. But if, however, an overdose of Eucolek's medicine has happened, allergy symptoms, such as, for example, mucosal edema, irritation, pruritus and rash, may appear.

Predominantly after refusing to take medication, pathological symptoms disappear on their own. But still it is worth notifying your doctor about it.

Interactions with other drugs

To date, no studies have yet been carried out to evaluate the mutual effect of one drug on another in parallel with their use in complex therapy. Therefore, it is impossible to predict the result of Eucolek interaction with other drugs unequivocally. Proceeding from it, the conclusion arises - such tandem should be appointed with special caution and keep under constant control.

Storage conditions

Since the preparation under consideration is manufactured on a natural basis, hence the storage conditions of Eucolek:

1. The medicine must be kept in a room with a low percentage of humidity.
2. Very limited and temperature indicators: from 8 to 15 ^о С (that is it is necessary to keep in the refrigerator).
3. The drug should be kept in a dark place, without being exposed to direct sunlight.
4. The place should not be accessible to small children.

Shelf life

When all the conditions for the proper storage of the medicinal product are fulfilled, the expiration date of Eucolek is two years. If the storage conditions were violated, this period is significantly reduced. The date of issue and the date of the final shelf-life shall necessarily be reflected on the package of the preparation. After the medication is overdue by the end date, it should not be used in therapy.
