Assign a hunger for 1-2 days, then a regular balanced diet: first diet No. 4 for 2-5 days, then No. 46. In fermentation dyspepsia in the diet, reduce the proportion of low-molecular carbohydrates and increase the proportion of proteins; when putrefactive - increase the amount of carbohydrates in the daily ration. Treatment of fatty dyspepsia involves limiting fats, especially refractory animal origin. In severe cases of alimentary dyspepsia, when the appropriate diet and diet do not eliminate digestive disorders, prescribe enzyme preparations in individually selected doses. If dyspepsia accompanies the diseases of the digestive system, it is recommended not only diet food, but also treatment of the underlying disease.

Prevention of alimentary dyspepsia consists, first of all, in the correct rational nutrition, corresponding to physiological norms, in the elimination of nutritional errors.
