Indications Cyclodinone

It is used for menstrual cycle disorders and mastodynia (pain and swelling in the mammary glands), which often leads to mastalgia. In addition, it is prescribed for PMS (symptoms include headaches or migraines, psychological instability and constipation).

Release form

The medicine is released in the form of drops taken orally, inside glass bottles with a volume of 50 or 100 ml. The bottle has a special drop dispenser. There is 1 such bottle inside the pack.

Pharmacodynamics

The dopaminergic effect of the drug leads to a decrease in prolactin production - eliminates hyperprolactinemia. With an increased level of prolactin, there is a violation of the secretion of gonadotropins, which can cause disorders in the process of follicle maturation and ovulation, and in addition, in the luteal phase. As a result, an imbalance in the progesterone / estradiol ratio develops, which causes menstrual disorders and mastodynia.

In addition, prolactin has a direct stimulating effect on the proliferative processes occurring inside the mammary glands, which potentiates the formation of connective tissues and also expands the milk ducts. [ 2 ]

A decrease in prolactin levels promotes the reverse development of disease processes inside the mammary glands and leads to the elimination of pain. [ 3 ]

Dosing and administration

The medicine is taken in a dose of 40 drops, once a day (it is recommended to dilute it in plain water).

To obtain the optimal therapeutic effect, the treatment cycle is continued for 3 months, without interruption. Even after the condition improves, the therapy must be continued for a period of several more weeks.

If there is no improvement after using Cyclodinone for 3 months, you should consult a doctor.
