Banks are a full-fledged alternative to mustard plasters when coughing. If the former help in the fight against dry cough, then banks are effective in sputum. The main indications for their use are:

  • Congestive processes in the lungs without elevated body temperature.
  • Inflammation of the pleura, bronchi, lungs (in the absence of pus).
  • Treatment of colds.
  • Stimulation of local immunity.

Banks have a relaxing and analgesic property. They also have a distracting effect. In their locations, products of blood cells accumulate, which provoke irritation of the body, activate the flow of leukocytes and lymphocytes to the affected areas. Banks create a vacuum, which, in addition to the anti-inflammatory effect, improves the condition of the muscles, increases their tone and elasticity.

In diseases of the respiratory tract, the medical device is installed on the back and chest, without affecting the vessels of the spine, the region of the heart, and the mammary glands in women.

Algorithm for installing cans for cough treatment:

  • The patient is placed on his back or stomach and a thin layer of oily cream is applied to the skin.
  • A little cotton wool is wound around the tweezers to visually make a wick, moisten it in alcohol and set it on fire.
  • The flame is placed in a jar for a couple of seconds and, holding it with the hole down, is placed on the skin. The tissues inside the container form a tubercle and turn red.
  • After all the banks are installed, the patient is covered with a towel.
  • The procedure is carried out for 5-15 minutes, monitoring the patient's condition to prevent the appearance of hematomas.
  • To remove the jar, it is tilted slightly to the side and pressed against the skin at the base of the vessel.
  • After the procedure, the skin is wiped with a damp warm towel and wrapped in a warm blanket for 1-2 hours.

The treatment procedure can be carried out for patients older than 3 years, but special small vessels must be used for this. You should also consider the presence of such contraindications:

  • Increased body temperature.
  • Acute inflammatory process.
  • Pulmonary tuberculosis.
  • Tumor neoplasms of benign/malignant origin.
  • Internal bleeding.
  • Inflammation and / or damage to the skin.
  • A large number of pigmented spots, moles, warts, scars, scars at the attachment points of cans.
  • Pregnancy and lactation.
  • Arterial hypertension 2.3 degrees.
  • Arrhythmia.
  • Implanted pacemaker.
  • Hypersensitive skin.
  • Violation of blood clotting.

Mustard plasters for coughing , like banks, have their own medicinal benefits and contraindications for use. In order for the therapy to be as effective and safe as possible, permission from the attending physician should be obtained before it is carried out.
