Acne on the face is a rather unpleasant problem, causing a lot of discomfort and various psychological difficulties, since the unaesthetic appearance of the skin of the face in the presence of acne gives impetus to the development of a lot of complexes. Acne on the face can be localized in the forehead area, above the eyebrows, near the mouth, on the chin, cheeks, on the nose, and also in the area of the bridge of the nose.

What causes acne on the face?
If acne on the face is located mainly on the chin, this may be closely related to problems with the gastrointestinal tract or problems with the endocrine system (ovarian inflammation, hormonal imbalance, etc.). If acne on the chin does not go away for a long time, it is advisable to consult a gynecologist. Another factor in the formation of acne in the chin area can be a decrease in the body's protective functions during colds and acute respiratory viral infections. Too frequent touching of the face with dirty hands can also provoke acne on the face in the chin area.
Acne on the face in the forehead area most often occurs due to excessive sebum production, since the forehead is where the largest number of sebaceous and sweat glands are located. If acne on the face forms in the very top part of the forehead, this most likely indicates problems with the gallbladder, various intoxications of the body, or an improper diet. If the pimple is located directly above the eyebrow, this may indicate problems with the intestines.
Acne on the face in the lip area can also be associated with problems of the digestive tract and intestines. Acne on the face in the nose area in many people is associated with increased oiliness of the skin and excessive enlargement of the pores, with hormonal imbalance that occurs in the body during puberty, as well as during menstruation in women. If acne on the face forms on the very tip of the nose, this may mean that there are problems with the cardiovascular system. If acne is located on the bridge of the nose, there may be problems with the liver, as a result of which the blood is not sufficiently purified.
Excessive thickening of the top layer of the epidermis, or hyperkeratosis, can also lead to acne. This is most likely due to a lack of vitamin A in the body, prolonged compression or friction of the skin, or exposure to chemicals on the skin.
Acne on the face can occur as a result of using various cosmetics that clog the skin and cause inflammation in the sebaceous glands. Squeezing acne is strictly prohibited regardless of the location, as it can lead to quite serious negative consequences. In the presence of inflammatory rashes on the skin of the face, peeling and scrubs should also not be used.

You can remove acne on your face using the following methods:
- mechanical cleansing of the facial skin. Carried out by a cosmetologist, each pimple is removed directly;
- hardware cleaning that neutralizes acne on the face, carried out by exposing the skin to ultrasound, galvanic current or vacuum;
- laser therapy is the most effective, painless and affordable method that restores the natural fat balance of the skin, neutralizes bacteria and prevents the formation of scars;
- phototherapy – heating the skin to the required depth, leading to the death of bacteria and cleansing of the sebaceous glands;
- Mesotherapy of facial skin is aimed at improving metabolism and accelerating the tissue healing process, as well as neutralizing skin oiliness. It is carried out by introducing small doses of drugs directly into problem areas.
