The shape of a woman's eyebrows will tell you where she comes from

According to a new study conducted in the UK, the shape of a woman's eyebrows can give more detailed information about where she comes from. Moreover, it is noted that eyebrows will tell where a woman is from even better than, for example, her accent. Thus, representatives of the fair half of humanity born in the southern part of Great Britain, Keira Knightley, Lily Collins and even the Duchess of Cambridge (Kate Middleton) prefer thick natural eyebrows, rather than dark brown ones.

Southern women buy 93 per cent more natural-coloured eyebrow pencils, while sales of dark-coloured pencils and brow wax are significantly higher in Liverpool, Manchester and Leeds. Irish women favour the 'tadpole' shaped brow - thick and round on the inside of the eye, tapering sharply towards the outside.

Scottish women pluck their eyebrows to create a "bar" shape. They have the straightest eyebrow shape, while women from the northern part of the UK shape their eyebrows into a semi-circle, which is called a "happy brow". Women of Welsh descent, such as Catherine Zeta-Jones, choose a soft arched shape. Thus, it is quite easy for a connoisseur of women's eyebrows to figure out where his chosen one comes from without even asking her.
