Our life consists of constant movement. We wake up in the morning, do exercises, get ready and go to work, do our business, meet with friends, play sports, walk with children. Our life is constant movement, and movement requires energy, which can result in increased sweating. Sweating is a common companion of people engaged in physical work, and in the summer almost all people suffer from sweating, all this is natural and does not require treatment.
People who are overweight and have health problems feel this problem more acutely – almost any movement (fast walking, climbing stairs, etc.) leads to heavy sweating. Diseases of the stomach, kidneys, heart and blood vessels, nervous system can also affect the work of the sebaceous glands. During menopause, women experience discomfort mixed with hot flashes, which does not have the best effect on the woman’s well-being. The appearance of a specific sweat odor may indicate serious health problems, in this case it is recommended to undergo an examination, take tests if necessary, if any pathologies are detected, you should not delay treatment.
Of course, you can eliminate odors with deodorants, but the real cause will remain, the disease will progress and become more difficult to treat over time.
In one of the latest studies, a group of American scientists came to the conclusion that one of the reasons for sweating is depression, which affects a huge number of modern people; this mental disorder is so widespread that scientists call depression the disease of the 21st century.
Depression or emotional suppression is a very complex disease. Often, just remembering your problem instantly returns a person to a depressed mental state, often, to get out of this state, a person needs the help of specialists, otherwise it can lead to suicide. During depression, a person distances himself from others, does not accept help from loved ones, becomes rude, cruel, withdraws into himself, stops seeing the joys of life, shows no interest in anything, and increased sweating during this period can further affect the condition (a person, due to discomfort, can stop going outside, communicating with others, and become even more immersed in his own thoughts and experiences). In this regard, American specialists recommend that people suffering from increased sweating in a normal state, i.e. not in extreme heat, intense physical activity, etc., pay attention to their mental state, consult a psychologist.
Depression develops for various reasons: hormonal imbalances, severe trauma and disability, job loss, death of a loved one, lack of biogenic amines, such a condition can also be caused by lack of sunlight (therefore, such conditions are most often noted in the autumn and winter, when daylight hours are shortened and the weather is more often rainy than sunny) and taking certain medications (corticosteroids, benzodiazepines). Depressive disorders often lead to nightmares, insomnia, problems with falling asleep. Night rest is extremely important for the recovery of the body, any sleep disorders affect not only the physical (fatigue, lethargy), but also the mental state of a person. An unrested nervous system sends certain signals to the brain, as a result, even greater psychological problems develop, for the treatment of which in most cases professional help and drug therapy are needed.
Gymnastics, physical exercises, the ability to relax, switching to positive moments of life, will help improve not only physical but also mental health, and, according to American experts, this will help cope with excessive sweating. The industry does not stand still, every day drugs are developed to combat unpleasant odor and restore the natural balance of the skin, many are based on medicinal plants that have long been used to combat unpleasant body odor, but if the cause lies in mental problems, then even the best deodorant will be powerless.
