Basically, these insects are familiar to people living near water bodies, gardeners and lovers of outdoor recreation. The mosquito is the most active around May and June, at daylight and in good weather, are completely on the eve of a bad weather, but in the rain they hide. Bite - females, however, to distinguish the female from the male is not possible, especially when their hordes rise from the grass and attack the open areas of the body. The consequences and treatment of bite bite depends on the individual sensitivity of the affected organism and the severity of the lesion.

Intoxication of the body as a result of an attack of the midges is called simulodotoxicosis. The first and most painful reaction that appears in everyone is itching. Keep from not combing the bite, and after the attack they are usually somewhat, almost impossible. Although, if you try hard and suffer for a while, the consequences will be minimal. Almost simultaneously with an itch in the places of a bite there are red swelled specks. At best, they look like small dense red papules that, if not combed, go away on their own for several days. Quite often bites of midges cause allergic reactions of different intensity, accompanied by swelling, blisters, prolonged severe itching, symptoms of general intoxication - fever, lymphadenopathy, increased pulse, hyper- and hypotension (anaphylactic shock is not excluded). Combings, which are difficult to keep even adults, about children - even nothing to say, lead to secondary infection, long-term healing and skin hypertrophy. Therefore, the earlier processing the traces of bites, the less painful consequences it will turn out.

First aid with bite bite

In most cases, the encounter with the gnats (gnats) ends with multiple itchy bites, which it is desirable to treat as soon as possible. This is mainly happening outside the city, and the possibilities of providing assistance are limited.

What should I do first, then remove the bite of the midges? First of all, when getting bites, if possible, rinse the damaged parts of the skin with clean water with household or antibacterial soap, get wet, lightly pinch the bites with your fingers and disinfect with any antiseptic available. If you have an antihistamine or anti-inflammatory ointment with you, carry out spot treatment of the bitten places. You can take an anti-allergic pill (allergy sufferers usually carry them even in the field).

How to remove the swelling of the eye after the bite of the midges?

Our face is open and almost always becomes an object of attack of blood-sucking little things. Sometimes the area around the eyes may suffer. These places are very gentle, such bites are usually accompanied by strong swelling.

If the midge bites into the eye, it is necessary to apply cold as soon as possible to the site of the bite. Best of all - a piece of ice wrapped in a waterproof film and a handkerchief. You can use any sachet taken out of the freezer. The effect of the procedure is directly proportional to the speed of its implementation and the degree of cooling.

From edema can help applying to the place of bite a plate of raw potatoes (as soon as it dries, it is replaced with fresh); previously mashed fresh fresh leaves of plantain, mint, parsley, young bird cherry.

Anti-edemas properties are compresses with drinking soda, cold lotions with tea brewing, infusions of medicinal herbs (alternatives, chamomile, St. John's wort, sage). They also have antipruritic effect.

If the eye swells, you can gently a thin layer, spread the bitten place anti-allergic ointment, it is better, if possible, for the eyes (Hydrocortisone, Dexamethasone). But if you do not have it at hand, then any one that does not have contraindications for use on the face (better than a light consistency - gel or cream) will do. For example, Heparin, Troxevasin, and also - Relief or Proctosan. The main thing at the same time - do not get ointment in the eyes. Additionally, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect. If there is edema of any localization, you need to drink a lot, which will help detoxify the body.

What if the mice bite?

Of course, you need to try not to scratch them. If you withstand the first influx of itching and do not scratch at all, then it quickly enough to subside itself. Although then after irritation with clothing, after a shower, touching the bitten parts of the body, the desire to scratch them will periodically arise again, but this will not be the same itch.

Combing bites, we injure the skin, violating its integrity, and increase the risk of secondary infection. All this leads to the fact that the wounds heal and heal much longer.

To reduce the manifestations of itching can: lotions with a solution of soda, medicinal herbs, soda paste, external agents with antipruritic effect (ointments, creams, solutions), systemic preparations for allergies.

Is it possible to wet a bite of midge?

Take a shower after biting midges, of course you can. It is good to use antibacterial soap or gel to further disinfect the surface of the body. Wipe, gently blot the bitten areas of the body with a soft towel, and do not rub, injuring additionally. After the shower it is desirable to treat the wound with a solution or ointment that removes symptoms of irritation.

But from swimming in open water, especially in stagnant water, it is better to abstain. Through infringement of the surface of the skin, infectious agents, in particular leptospira, can enter the body from the water. As a result, bathing can result in an infectious disease.

Than to remove or take off an inflammation from a sting of midge?

Inflamed areas of the body are treated with local anti-inflammatory and disinfecting drugs - solutions: alcohol - diamond green, salicylic or boric acid, manganese, furacilin, chlorhexidine, ointments - rescuer, Bepanten, Levomecol and other means.

Users are interested in whether it is possible to smear midges with iodine. If there is no allergy to iodine, then you can. It is a strong antiseptic, moreover, possessing anti-edematous properties. If there are wounds from scratching at the site of a bite, iodine is not applied directly to the wound, but is spread around an open wound. The same applies to many other means, for example, antihistamine or hormonal local drugs also do not treat the skinless wound surface.

Choose what to smear bite mosquitoes, it is necessary, based on the clinical picture of the consequences of the attack of the midges. If the inflammation of allergic origin, apply local antiallergic drugs - antihistamines or hormones. With bacterial infection and suppuration - ointments and creams with antibiotics. Sometimes, in severe cases, the use of systemic therapy is required, but such cases already require medical advice and the implementation of the doctor's recommendations.

The question is often asked: What is the best way to treat a moth bite on your face? The skin on the face, in principle, does not differ from the skin in other places. Just defects on the face more noticeable. Choosing a means for the face, it is even more meticulous to take into account the patient's individual tolerance. Some calmly smear their face with alcohol solutions, others - they get burns from them. Naturally, for the treatment of bites on your face you need to select antiseptics of a softer effect. In addition, try not to get into the eyes, nasal passages and into the mouth, especially by means not intended for mucosal processing. This can be learned from the instructions for the selected drug.

In pharmacies are sold modern means - balms and pencils from insect bites, there are universal and for children. Perhaps the manufacturer exaggerates the effects of such products, but they actually disinfect and reduce the itching, remove the tumor, they can treat the skin of the face. In addition, they are very convenient in the field as an emergency aid. Later, after returning home, depending on the developed reaction, you can put on lotions and apply special tools, as well as - consult a doctor if the condition of the victim worsens.

Ointments, gels and creams from the bite of the midges

Selecting a means to help and eliminate the response to an alien biological substance that has got into the body when biting, you should be aware of what effect we want to achieve - to prevent the development of an allergic reaction or to remove inflammation, swelling, itching and other irritation symptoms that have already appeared, and also - it should be noted that the use of the drug is fraught with side effects, against which the bite of the midge will seem a minor episode.

In cases when the victim develops a fast and massive allergic reaction, it is necessary, immediately, to seek emergency professional help. In cases of delayed allergic reaction, severe swelling, urticaria, the appearance of systemic symptoms, it is also necessary to consult a doctor and follow his prescriptions.

In other, easier cases, to alleviate the patient's condition, reduce edema, hyperemia and itching, the modern pharmaceutical industry offers many drugs for external use. And cheap ointments from mosquito bites are no less effective than expensive ones. The price of the question usually depends on the manufacturer.

The external means in tubes, usually called ointments, all have a soft consistency, are often called the same, that is, they contain the same active ingredients, but differ in the form of the release and pose a buyer's impasse, what to choose:

  • gels - usually have a water base, can contain ethyl alcohol, but do not contain fatty ingredients, do not interfere with the free outflow of physiological fluid and are slightly dried, they are recommended for use on a wet rash;
  • ointments - the most fatty ones, penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin, are applied to a dry rash, it is not recommended to apply to dying wounds (prevent the outflow of exudate and fatty components can make clothes dirty);
  • cream is an intermediate form between the two above, although it contains fatty ingredients, but hydrophilic, is well absorbed (does not leave greasy stains), has anti-inflammatory properties, penetrates not as deep as the ointment, however, it is enough for bites of Simuliidae.

With uninfected bites, the cream form is preferred. Although it all depends on the specific response of the body to the bite. With an uncomplicated bite, the main task of the remedy is to eliminate swelling and itching, and also - early healing.

I want to dwell on such a form of external means as balm. This form assumes the absence of water, and consequently - of preservatives, and the availability of natural ingredients. It has a denser texture, but it seems to melt on the skin. In addition, it has disinfecting and regenerating properties, and also removes inflammation. Perhaps with a strong allergic reaction, its action will not be enough, however, with inflammation and even infection, this drug may be appropriate.

Effective remedies for mosquito bites

Allergic reactions to biting bugs are very common. And, if parents react so, then there is a high probability that their child will react in the same way. In addition to hereditary predisposition and individual sensitivity to the salmon of Simuliidae, people with reduced immunity and chronic diseases of the liver and kidneys (the main body filters) are at risk. The number of bites, as well as the absence of aging and their combing, are also important.

To prevent the development or reduce the manifestations of an allergic reaction, oral antihistamines can be taken in time.

Suprastinum with a bite of midges will  stop itching, development of edema and other systemic symptoms. The action of chloropyramine hydrochloride (the active ingredient of the drug) is to prevent the reactions of organs and tissues to release histamine by blocking the central histamine receptors. The drug also has a pronounced sedative effect, helping to fall asleep an exhausted itch to the victim. Do not give patients with closed-angle glaucoma and prostate adenoma, at the time of an acute attack of ischemic heart disease or bronchial asthma, with oligonuria and therapy with monoamine oxidase inhibitors.

Despite the fact that Suprastin is an antiallergic drug, it can also cause sensitization reactions, lead to side effects due to its anticholinergic action, causing visual disturbances, urination, digestion. Its side effects can be expressed in violations of the central nervous system (dizziness, convulsions, dyskinesia), cardiovascular system (arrhythmia, lower blood pressure), hematopoiesis. The effects are reversible.

The drug has a fairly fast but short-term effect, so it is taken three to four times a day, with the dose taken should not exceed four tablets. To children the dose is calculated depending on the weight and within a day you can give no more than 2 mg per one kilogram of the child's weight. It should also be noted that for people with liver and kidney disease, the dose of Suprastin should be reduced.

However, if a person needs to engage in work that requires attention and concentration, it is better to choose another drug that does not have the ability to depress the central nervous system.

Clarithine with bite of midges  does not cause significant sedative and holinolytic action in most patients. Loratadine, the active ingredient of this drug, belongs to selective blockers of H1-histamine receptors. The antihistamine effect comes more slowly (from one to three hours it is necessary to wait), however, keeps more than days. The absence of a significant effect on the central nervous and cardiovascular system reduces the undesirable effect to hypersensitivity reactions to the drug components. The initial dose of Claritin is adjusted downwards only for patients with hepatic dysfunction. The drug does not develop resistance, as to Suprastin.

Patients weighing more than 30 kg are prescribed one tablet per day. At a lower weight, the oral form is recommended in the form of a syrup, the daily dose of which is 5 ml.

Fenistil from mosquito bite  can be used in drops for oral administration and externally in the form of a gel. Its active ingredient dimethidine is a blocker of not only H1-histamine receptors, but also the actions of other allergy effectors - bradykinin and serotonin. Has a slight cholinolytic and can cause mild drowsiness. Side effects can be expressed in some inhibition, especially in the morning, xerostomia, dyspepsia. Reception triple by 20 drops, in cases of severe sedation, the drug is taken in the morning in the usual dose, skip the day time and at night the dose is doubled. To children, the daily dose is calculated by 0.1 mg per kilogram of weight. Contraindications are similar to Suprastin.

Fenistil gel from bites of Simuliidae is  very effective for the removal of itching, which takes several minutes. When the drug is used locally, no systemic effect is observed in the form of drowsiness. The drug is applied pointwise only to the site of the bite, large body surfaces are not recommended for processing.

You can apply the systemic drug  Zirtek when biting midges. Its active ingredient Cetirizine hydrochloride belongs to a new generation of drugs acting on central histamine receptors selectively and not adversely affecting the cardiovascular and central nervous system. He quickly stops allergy symptoms and almost no one has side effects. Drops and pills patients older than 12 years take once a day for 10 mg. Children are calculated age dose and can resort to a two-time reception.

Sensitivity reactions to the saliva of blood-sucking insects are manifested in people to varying degrees, but always. At least a small swelling, a red speck, and most importantly - an intolerable itch are manifestations of sensitization. At the same time, any antihistamine ointment can be relieved of bite bites.

No less effective than Fenistil, is  Psilo-balm from the bite of Simuliidae.  He named the balm conditionally. This is usually the name of anhydrous substances based on natural components. The main active substance of this drug is dipheniramine hydrochloride, better known as diphenhydramine. The blocker of the central histamine receptors of the first generation when applied to the skin removes the symptoms of an allergic reaction - itching, swelling and soreness. Diphenhydramine, like other antihistamines of this generation, is able to depress the central nervous system. True, when applied to small surfaces this action is almost not expressed, however, it should be taken into account when taking other sedatives and alcohol, the effect of which can increase. Also, do not continue to handle large areas of the body for a long time, and apply the drug pointwise exclusively to the bite sites.

Hormonal ointments are very effective in the development of allergic reactions, which give a quick effect. They are often prescribed by doctors, when patients complain of an intolerable itch. Systemic therapy of glucocorticosteroids is used in severe reactions, which are very rare from biting Moss. Although external drugs are less toxic than systemic ones, they also have many side effects, both general and local. Therefore, they are suitable only for short-term use. As soon as unpleasant symptoms decrease and swelling begins to subside, it is better to switch to safer means.

Hydrocortisone with bite of midges is  also able to quickly remove puffiness, eliminate itching and redness. It copes well with inflammations of non-infectious origin, it suppresses sensitization reactions. Since the drug is hormonal, it is better not to use it without prescribing a doctor, on large surfaces and for a long time. However, if the eye is affected, hydrocortisone ophthalmic ointment can effectively help, so one- or two-time use as first aid is entirely acceptable.

Ointment Prednisolone 5%. It effectively removes edema and itching, but penetrates into the systemic bloodstream, can cause atrophic skin changes and other side effects. In no case is it used in the presence of open wounds or an infection, not used as an antiseptic. Without medical appointment it is possible to apply for relief of allergy symptoms, but it is not recommended to use it for a long time.

Acryderma Cream from bite of Simuliidae  can be used with a pronounced allergic reaction. Its active substance betamethasone propionate inhibits the natural immune response of the body - leukocyte and lyssomal activity, inactivates proinflammatory mediators, due to which the edema does not develop, soothes itching and hyperemia. Systemic absorption of the active ingredient when applying cream to the skin is insignificant, however, side effects are possible. When applied to children's skin, face and under the bandage, absorption into the total blood flow increases.

Ointments and creams with glucocorticosteroids, as already mentioned, are characterized by speed. It is recommended to apply them for a short time and to switch to other means when the allergic reaction is attenuated. In addition, if bites are severely injured by scratching and infected with pyogenic bacteria, hormone ointments can not be used. For such cases, there are combined drugs.

For example,  Gyoxysone ointment when bitten by midges is  used in cases when infection occurred and the bites turned into pustules. The composition of the ointment includes oxytetracycline, which has a bacteriostatic effect, inhibiting protein synthesis in bacterial cells, and a low-activity corticosteroid hydrocortisone, which has the ability to relieve the symptoms of inflammation. Contraindicated with intolerance of components, infection with viruses and fungi. Use ointment for more than five days is not recommended. Also it is undesirable to treat bites in places with sensitive skin - on the face, in the armpits, in the groin and under the hair. Contraindicated for children under eight years old.

Eye  Tetracycline ointment from bite of midges  can be used and in areas with sensitive skin, in particular, with lesions in the eye area. However, people with a tendency to allergies, to drugs that contain antibiotics tetracycline should be treated with caution.

Levomekol with bite of midges  can help with inflamed bites that combed and infected. Even if the wound is suppurated, the ointment will help cope with the inflammation. It consists of two components: the antibiotic levomycetin (chloramphenicol), active to the main pyogenic bacteria, and the stimulant of the reductive processes of methyluracil. Polyethylene glycol, on the basis of which the active ingredients are mixed, potentiates their action and is an adsorbent of exudate. Bites are simply lubricated daily with ointment. It is intended for short-term use (no more than five days) and is used in patients from the age of three.

Systemic antibiotics with bite of midges can be prescribed for severe inflammation, complications, but they should be taken only by medical prescription.

Balm Rescuer from the bite of Simuliidae  can be used as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent, and it can help when entering the infection. It can be applied to open wounds for their disinfection. Balsam components - exclusively natural (refined milk fat and turpentine oil, beeswax, oils from sea buckthorn berries, lavender and tea tree, echinacea extract, vitamin E) not only disinfect the wound surface and relieve the symptoms of inflammation, but also contribute to the rapid regeneration of the skin surface. Direct balm does not render balm. In this case, it is better to use special external means.

Heparin ointment from mosquito bites  is used as a decongestant. Sometimes on a place of stings there are spots, similar to hematomas. With the help of Heparin Ointment, you can quickly get rid of them. This drug also has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. In case of damage to the integrity of the skin, ointment is not used. Can be used from one year of age.

Menovazine with midge bites  has antipruritic and analgesic effect due to the presence of menthol in the composition, and also - novocain and anestezin, which act on the nerve endings and dull the sensitivity of the skin. Given that the composition of the product includes ethyl alcohol, it is also antiseptic. Menovasin can treat the skin surface immediately after a bite, disinfecting it and relieving the symptoms of simulotoxicosis.

Vietnamese balm "Asterisk" with a bite of midges  well relieves itching, and if the bites are not combed, then the consequences will be minimal. Oils that are part of balsam, eucalyptus, mint, clove, cinnamon, camphor have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.

Ointment Vishnevsky from a bite of midges  has a sense to apply at a pyesis. It is applied to the inflamed areas and covered with a gauze bandage. The effect is rapid, the wounds are cleared, the skin is restored. In the composition of the ointment natural ingredients - birch tar, xerobes and castor oil. Serious drawback - the color and smell, however, compared with the possible effects of antibiotics, this is nonsense.

Dimexide with bite of midges  can be used both on its own, especially if nothing else is at hand, and in combination with other medicines - heparin ointment, hormonal anti-inflammatory creams, antibiotic ointments as a conduit, potentiating their action and penetration depth. Dimexide has antimicrobial activity, so they can disinfect bites. In parallel, it will have a moderate anesthetic and anti-inflammatory effect. Dimexide, diluted in equal parts with water, is applied to the skin of the extremities, if it is necessary to treat more sensitive skin areas, for example, a face, a less concentrated solution is made (one part of Dimexide for five or even ten parts of water).

Thiosulfate of sodium with bite of midges  is used both inward and parenterally, as a means for detoxification, prevention of development of hypersensitivity reactions and inflammatory process. This substance refers to antidotes and in severe conditions can be used intravenously.

Calcium thiosulfate or Calcium Chloride is also used. All these preparations are for intravenous administration. In no case should they be injected intramuscularly, with this method necrosis of tissue occurs. The solution can be used as a drink if there is no more modern means at hand, for example, tablets Loratadina (Claritina), Cetirizine, Fenistil, and the allergic reaction increases and there is nowhere to wait for help.

Quite often reactions of sensitization after the bites of blood-sucking insects develop in people with chronic diseases and reduced immunity, so therapy should be comprehensive, including not only medicines, but vitamins. However, the choice of vitamin complexes no longer applies to first aid, and it should be done on the recommendation of a doctor.

The treatment of the consequences of bite of midges can be helped by physiotherapy. It is considered the safest for children and adults, not causing side effects, because it is an application of natural physical effects. Procedures for each patient are selected individually by a doctor and conducted in medical institutions under the control of at least medium-sized personnel.

To reduce the itching and pain sensations it is possible with the help of the currents of d'Arsonval. The result of the effect is achieved by activating the blood circulation and, as a result, improving nutrition and metabolic processes in the surface layers of the skin. Also contributes to the acceleration of wound healing. Children are appointed from the age of eleven.

On intact skin surfaces, galvanization (for swelling) and electrophoresis with antihistamine drugs can be performed, with UHF and microwave therapy assigned for secondary infection. Immunocorrective action is provided by laser therapy.

In any case, an electrosleep is useful - the stabilization of metabolic processes in the skin occurs due to the sedative effect of the electric field on the cerebral cortex.

How to get rid of mite bites at home?

Typically, such damage to the skin is not deadly and often go away on its own, however, itching causes significant discomfort. This is the main symptom that you want to get rid of first. Alternative treatment may well help.

For example, lotions from bite mosquitoes. The most famous of them is with a solution of baking soda. The solution is prepared in the following proportions: a teaspoonful for 200ml of water.

If there is no soda, then salt and water are, as a rule, always - at the cottage and at a picnic. You can make lotions with 9% hypertonic solution: in a liter of clean water, dissolve three tablespoons of common table salt with a slide (if the salt is small - "Extra", then without a slide).

Many people respond well about lotions from a solution of honey, for which a teaspoon of honey is dissolved in a glass of water.

If at hand there is nothing but cold water, you can make water lotions.

Such solutions can simply lubricate the bitten places, however, in the form of lotions, the action of the substance is more prolonged and, accordingly, effective. Such lotions have both antipruritic and anti-edematous effects.

You can make a compress from a bite of midges. Immediately after a bite, make a cold compress. It is best to attach any sachet from the freezer (if possible), wrapping it in a clean towel. It helps to narrow the blood vessels and prevents the development of edema.

Compresses are made from grated raw potatoes, it is distributed in a gauze flap and applied to bitten and swollen places. You can pribintovat.

Compress of soda with a bite of midge is done as follows. Moisten a napkin or gauze flap in a saturated soda solution - a tablespoon for 300ml of water, attach to the bitten place, pribintovat.

You can apply to the bites soda gruel (soda mixed with water to a mushy state), allow to dry.

To remove the itching on the bite, you can apply soda mixed in equal proportions with ammonia. As soon as the applied mixture dries, the bites cease to itch.

Badyaga - porous freshwater sponge is used to combat swelling, seals, bruises. Used pharmacy products with badyagi, because at home it does not make sense to process it. In drugstores, powdered banyagi is sold - the most concentrated product from it. The powder is diluted as a suspension and applied to bites. People with sensitive skin in the mixture should add vegetable oil, and it is better to use a gel or cream. According to reviews, the badyaga from the bite of the midge eliminates flushing and swelling in about three hours, and itching will stop even earlier. Gels and creams can be applied to gentle driving around the eyes.

Boric alcohol when bitten by midges are used as an antiseptic, treating them with bitten places. It somewhat relieves it, but only if it is applied immediately after the bite. Periodic lubrication distracts, has a slight anti-inflammatory effect. About the same way the pharmacy tincture of calendula works.

You can lubricate bites with essential oils, especially tea tree oil.

Directly in nature, without any first-aid kit, you can effectively help with bite bites, using fresh wild-growing medicinal plants - plantain, dandelion, celandine.

Since the midges bite in the summer in a meadow or in the forest, the treatment with herbs is carried out immediately, by foot, and can be very effective. Such treatment is suitable for children.

The leaves of the plantain are well kneaded and attached to bites. You can pick fresh leaves and squeeze out the juice from them, which periodically lubricate the bite.

If dandelions are blossoming next to you, you can lubricate their bites with milk. Dandelion leaves also help to remove unpleasant bite symptoms. They can be crushed and attached to the edema

Anti-inflammatory and antipruritic action renders juice of celandine, they can also lubricate bites in the field. And also - to grab a bouquet from the aboveground parts of the plant, grind and squeeze the house. Dilute juice with alcohol - about two parts of juice per alcohol. Drain into a clean vial and use until the end of the summer with insect bites, lubricating them when necessary. Purity is a poisonous plant, so you need to make sure that its juice does not get on the mucous membranes and inside. Its external use for spotting on bites will not cause harm, especially since long-term treatment is not needed, but it is not worth lubricating large skin surfaces, especially in children.

Homeopathy

Homeopathic preparations constitute a worthy competition with pharmaceuticals as a means of first aid and prevention of complications after bites of Simuliidae. However, they do not have a lot of side effects, especially, in comparison with hormonal.

Immediately after the bite, as a symptomatic first aid, Ledum 30 (Ledum rhizome) is recommended, one pellet with an interval of 15 to 30 minutes several times (three to five).

Symptoms of bite of midges, complications after them are stopped and constitutive drugs, among which Urtica urens, Caladium seguinum (Bloody Dieffenbachia), Vespa crabro (Hornet of the Common), Apis mellifica (Honey-Bee) are often used.

In complicated cases, when developing reactions of sensitization, it is better not to engage in self-medication, but to turn to a professional.

From pharmacy homeopathic medicines, Traumeel C can be recommended  for biting midges. Produced in different forms - for external treatment (ointment and gel), for oral administration (tablets), parenteral solution in ampoules.

Therapeutic effect of Traumeel C is provided by calcium compounds, Hamamélis virginiána, Hypericum perfoliatum, Millefolium, Aconitum and Arnica montana Arnica - able to strengthen the walls of the vessels, to remove swelling, itching, pain , inflammation. Homeopathic dilutions of mercury compounds supplement the effects of plant substances.

Chamomilla, Echinacea angustifolia, Calendula officinalis, Symphytum officinalis, Hepar sulphur activate and normalize metabolic processes at the site of injury, promoting cellular renewal and restoration of normal tissue structure.

External means (ointment and gel) of Traumeel are used at any age since birth.

A thin layer of ointment can handle bite sites from two to three times a day, with the increase in symptoms - allowed from five to six applications.

The gel is recommended to be used once or twice, but with exacerbations it is allowed to apply more often.

Dosage for internal and injective use should be prescribed by a physician.

Homeopathic ointment "Arnika", a mono-drug that certainly does not have such a broad spectrum of action as the previous complex agent, can also help to eliminate traces of bites, as it possesses resorptive properties. A thin layer of ointment is applied to the sites of bites from two to four times a day.

After the application of complex allopathic therapy with antihistamines and steroid hormones to eliminate the consequences of massive drug intoxication, purification of the body of toxins from pathogenic agents, as well as strengthening the protective forces, restoring respiratory and reparation, metabolic processes in the skin, Lymphomyosot, Psorinochel N, drops for oral administration. You can use drugs that interfere with hypoxic processes in tissues and metabolic disorders, Ubiquinone compositum and Coenzyme compositum. These are injectable medicines, however, the contents of the ampoules can be taken for oral administration. Doses and the frequency of reception are prescribed by the doctor.

Prevention

Protection against mosquito bites is not really such a difficult task. Leaving the summer season outside the city, you need to put on (with you) light, but as much as possible closed clothes from natural fabrics, use repellents. The choice of such drugs is now very wide, they are available in different forms (aerosol, cream, spirals, which fumigate tents, rooms and even some space in the open air) for adults, children and allergy sufferers. In addition, you need to have a pencil from insect bites. For those who suspect the possibility of developing an allergic reaction to a bite in oneself or a child, it is advisable to take with them antihistamines (people with allergies usually have them in a home medicine chest).

After bites, they can not be combed, treated with the purpose of disinfection by means of household chemicals.

When choosing a place of rest, it is advisable to take into account that the mosquito is concentrated in the tall grass and its favorite habitats - the banks of reservoirs with running water.

Forecast

Even multiple bite bugs rarely cause anaphylactic shock. However, they can deliver a lot of unpleasant sensations in the form of edema and itching, complications after scratching. Therefore, after being attacked by midges, it is necessary to provide first aid and to return home as soon as possible.

Basically, the bite of Simuliidae does not entail serious health and disability effects.
