Pharmacodynamics

The drug has a calming, cardiac muscle stimulating and antispasmodic effect.

Cardiac glycoside, an alcoholic extract of lily of the valley, activates contractions of the heart muscle, which has a beneficial effect on blood circulation.

Sedation and antispasmodic action are provided by sodium bromide and alcohol extract of valerian roots. In addition to them, atropine and hyoscyamine, contained in the belladonna extract, reduce the tone of smooth muscles and have a positive effect on the work of the heart. However, these substances can increase intraocular pressure and contribute to the dilation of the pupils, increasing the need of the myocardium for oxygen.

Levomenthol dilates coronary vessels, improves blood supply to the myocardium and reduces its load, tones venous circulation and moderately relieves pain.

Pharmacokinetics

Not presented.

Dosing and administration

Drop ten to twenty drops into ¼ glass of water and drink before meals twice or three times a day. The duration of the course of treatment is individual.
