Vagoklis is an antimicrobial and bactericidal agent that belongs to the group of organic acids.
Indications Vagoklis
Indications for the use of medications Vagoklis are the following pathologies:
- signs of bacterial vaginosis;
- imbalance of the vaginal microflora, which is formed as a result of internal, injectable or external use of antibiotic agents or chemotherapy;
- reception of hormonal means;
- irritating effect of a mechanical or chemical nature on the vaginal mucosa (use of unsuitable creams, lubricants, intimate hygiene products);
- for the prevention of treatment (especially long-term) with the use of antibiotics or chemotherapeutic agents.
Release form
Medication Vagoklis is made in the form of vaginal clear solution in batch packages of 120 ml. The package can be 1, 3 or 10 packages.

The active component of the medication is represented by lactic acid. In 1 ml of vaginal solution contains 10 mg of lactic acid, as well as a number of additional substances: benzalkonium chloride, glycerin, sodium hydroxide and water.
Pharmacodynamics
The natural environment of the vagina should normally contain mixed populations of non-pathogenic microorganisms (most of them lactobacilli - Doderlein's sticks). This provides an acidic PH 4 vagina.
Disorder of this natural balance can trigger the appearance of secretions, unpleasant odor, itching, the development of the inflammatory process.
Treatment of the vagina with Vagoklis helps maintain the natural balance of the vaginal microflora.
Pharmacokinetics
Pharmacokinetics Vagoklis has not been studied.
Dosing and administration
Vagoklis is prescribed for intravaginal application. As therapeutic measures the drug is used 2 to 4 times a week. In uncomplicated cases, or for prophylactic purposes, the solution is used up to 2 times a week.
The duration of the course of treatment and the number of daily irrigation are determined by the doctor and depend on the degree of neglect of the process of imbalance of the flora of the vagina.
Important points in the use of the drug Vagoklis:
- the procedure begins after thorough hygiene of the external genitalia;
- take the packaged solution out of the box;
- bring it to room temperature (if the drug was stored in the refrigerator, the package can be placed for a short while in warm (not hot) water;
- while supporting the package in an upright position, move the clip to the bottom edge of the nozzle so that it completely covers the nozzle;
- break off the tip of the tip so that a droplet of lactic acid solution appears from it;
- carefully insert the nozzle into the vaginal cavity;
- open the latch and, squeezing the package, squeeze the contents into the vagina.
Use Vagoklis during pregnancy
During pregnancy, the use of intra-vaginal irrigation with Vagoklis solution is prohibited.
During the period of breastfeeding, the use of the drug is allowed.
Contraindications
Among the contraindications to the use of medication Vagoklis - pregnancy at any time.
Overdose
Cases of drug overdose have not been described.
Storage conditions
The intravaginal solution of Vagoklis is stored in dry cool conditions, in places inaccessible to children.
