Natural vinegar based on fruit acids is a virtually universal and unique remedy used in folk medicine and cosmetology. High-quality vinegar is obtained in a natural way: by fermentation with the involvement of oxygen and acetic acid in the process. The resulting remedy treats and prevents many diseases. In particular, psoriasis can be treated with vinegar. The preparation prepared according to all the rules contains a lot of vitamins, minerals, essential oils, amino acids, organic substances and alcohols, which it gives to the modified affected skin.
Can you treat psoriasis lesions with vinegar?
Depending on its origin, vinegar can be divided into industrially produced and home-made. In industry, acetic acid is produced diluted with water at 3%, 6% or 9%. Homemade vinegar has a lower acid percentage, but its benefits are much more noticeable.
How can this be explained? The fact is that natural vinegar, prepared at home, retains a much greater amount of useful substances. Moreover, the product can be made not only from apples, but also from grapes, dates, etc.
Experience shows that even simply wiping practically healthy skin with a high-quality vinegar solution can relieve a person from itching and inflammation caused by burns and insect bites.
Treating psoriasis with vinegar helps soften crusts and keratinization, eliminate itching and discomfort, and alleviate the patient's condition. During the treatment of psoriasis lesions, fats interact minimally with acid, so the skin does not dry out, but is cleansed and strengthened.

Vinegar Recipes for Psoriasis
To treat psoriasis with vinegar, you can use the following useful recipes.
- A cotton pad or napkin is generously soaked in apple cider vinegar and the affected skin areas are treated. This treatment is repeated daily at night for one week. After this, a break of 1 month should be taken and the course of treatment repeated.
This treatment allows you to cleanse the skin of dead surface layers.
- Dilute apple cider vinegar with boiled water in a ratio of 1:5, add 1 tbsp. of succession grass to the solution and place in a cool place for 5-6 days. After infusion, the medicine is used externally for lotions on areas affected by psoriasis.
Instead of succession, you can use celandine herb.
- To soften the skin and for extensive psoriasis lesions, vinegar baths are used. Pour 0.5 liters of natural vinegar into a bath of warm water and immerse yourself in it for 10-15 minutes.
- For small psoriatic plaques, the following recipe may help. Take 100 ml of apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp. of honey and 2 tbsp. of ground oatmeal. Mix the ingredients and apply to the affected areas once a day for 20 minutes, then wash off with warm water.
External treatment of psoriasis is successfully combined with taking apple cider vinegar internally: 1 teaspoon three times a day, dissolved in 100-200 ml of water. The course of therapy is 2 weeks.
Apple Cider Vinegar for Psoriasis
Apple cider vinegar has a lot of medicinal properties, because it contains a whole storehouse of useful substances:
- essential microelements in the form of magnesium, iron, phosphorus, calcium, silicon, fluorine, etc.;
- rich acidic composition (acetic, lactic, citric acids);
- potassium carbonate, pectin;
- vitamin substances (group B, vitamins A, P, C, E, etc.).
The properties of vinegar are especially relevant for psoriasis:
- acceleration of local metabolic processes, removal of toxic substances;
- bactericidal action, stabilization of the balance of surface flora;
- antifungal action;
- tissue restoration, elimination of excess keratinization and itching;
- skin health improvement.
Vinegar is a natural remedy, so its use cannot harm the body. However, if the skin, in addition to psoriatic rashes, has ulcers, cuts and other damage to the integrity of the skin, then using acid in such places is undesirable.

Ointment for psoriasis from eggs and vinegar
Take a fresh chicken egg, put it in a transparent glass and fill it to the top with vinegar essence (70%). Hide the glass in a cupboard or other dark place and leave for 5 days. During this period of time, the eggshell dissolves, and the egg will hold its shape due to the film.
The egg is taken out, the film is removed and it is thoroughly ground with natural butter until a thick mixture is formed. The butter should not contain salt.
Next, gradually add the essence in which the egg was steeped into the thick mass. Mix thoroughly until a creamy consistency is achieved. The resulting ointment is applied to the affected skin surface.
Before starting treatment for psoriasis, it should be taken into account that the prepared product can cause severe burning and tingling in the places of application. For this reason, it is not recommended to apply the ointment to healthy skin or use it in large quantities, as you can get quite severe burns. It is better if such treatment is carried out under the supervision of a medical specialist.
Egg and vinegar for psoriasis can be mixed not only with butter, but also with lard (lard), and even with Vaseline oil. However, the original recipe contains unsalted butter.
Psoriasis Treatment with Fruit Vinegar
Natural homemade vinegar can be not only apple. It is prepared on the basis of grapes, dates, figs, sugar beets and even watermelon. All types of fruit vinegar are useful in their own way. At the same time, in most recipes, vinegar is interchangeable: that is, instead of apple, you can use wine or grape.
We offer you a few more recipes for psoriasis using fruit vinegar.
- Take a gauze napkin, preferably multi-layered. Warm the vinegar a little, soak the napkin in it and apply it to the skin affected by psoriatic plaques (face - 10 minutes, limbs and body - 20 minutes). After the required time has passed, remove the napkin, but do not wash the skin for another hour. This procedure should be done rarely, no more than once a month.
- Take baby cream and mix it with an equal amount of fruit vinegar. Apply the resulting product to the areas affected by psoriasis before going to bed. Duration of treatment is 2 weeks.
- Baths and foot baths for limbs affected by psoriasis are considered very effective. Fruit vinegar (100 ml per 1 liter of water) and a small amount of baking soda are added to the water for the procedure. The duration of the bath is 10 minutes. Frequency - daily or every other day, for 2 weeks.
In fact, there are many similar recipes, since the treatment of psoriasis with vinegar is considered very popular. Important: the treatment is always carried out only with a freshly prepared quality product, and when using the essence, extreme caution is observed to avoid chemical burns.
