Among the etiotropic agents for the treatment of intestinal yersiniosis, preference is given to sodium leucine succinate and cephalosporins of the third and fourth generations.

In moderate and severe forms, in addition to antibiotic therapy, symptomatic therapy is prescribed, including detoxification (1.5% reamberin solution), rehydration measures, antihistamines, vitamins, and diet.

In the septic form of yersiniosis, two antibiotics are usually prescribed (orally and parenterally), probiotics (Acipol, etc.), and glucocorticoids. In arthritis and erythema nodosum, antibiotics are ineffective; the process can only be stopped by adding antirheumatic drugs and glucocorticoids. In order to potentiate the effect of antibacterial therapy and reduce side effects, it is recommended to include the polyenzyme drug Wobenzym in the complex therapy. An effect was obtained when cycloferon (meglumine acridonacetate) was included in the complex therapy of yersiniosis.

In cases of appendicitis, abscesses, and osteomyelitis, surgical intervention is indicated.
