Of the means of etiotropic treatment of intestinal yersiniosis, preference is given to the left-handed succinic sodium succinate and cephalosporins of III and IV generations.

In moderate and severe forms, in addition to antibiotic therapy, prescribe symptomatic therapy, including detoxification (1.5% reamberin solution), rehydration measures, antihistamines, vitamins, diet.

In the septic form of yersiniosis, two antibiotics (inside and parenterally), probiotics (acipol, etc.), and also glucocorticoids are usually prescribed. With arthritis and erythema nodosum antibiotics are ineffective, the process can be managed only by the addition of antirheumatic drugs and glucocorticoids. In order to potentiate the effects of antibacterial therapy and reduce side effects, it is recommended to include a polyenzymatic drug vobenzym in complex therapy. The effect was obtained when cycloserone (meglumine acridon acetate) was included in the complex therapy of yersiniosis.

With appendicitis, abscesses, osteomyelitis, surgical intervention is indicated.
