By a method of electrotherapy of patients on a chronic prostatitis doctors more often choose more effective and safe microwave therapy in centimeter mode. The domestic apparatus "Luch-2" is equipped with a ceramic contact rectal radiator with a special removable cover. It creates an electromagnetic field along the entire length, with an average depth of penetration of radiation into the tissue is 4.6 cm. The nominal value of the fixed frequency of electromagnetic oscillations is 2 375 MHz. Microwave therapy raises the temperature in the prostate to 40 ° C, stimulates enzymatic processes, cellular and humoral immunity, activates natural killer cells, facilitating the removal of pathological secretions.

Treatment of chronic prostatitis: microwave microwave therapy

The effect of microwave microwave therapy on hemodynamics and vascularization of the prostate of patients on chronic prostatitis was traced in 30 patients to chronic prostatitis. Before the treatment, all patients complained of pains of different localization. Psychoneurological symptoms occurred in 90% of patients. Discharge from the urethra was noted 28%, general malaise - 14%. Dysuria was observed in almost all patients, a decreased potency - in 35%. Pathological changes in the analysis of the prostate secretion were noted in 86% of patients in this group.

Patients received 8-12 procedures of microwave therapy after 1 day, alternating with a massage. The position of patients in treatment - on the right side, exposure - 10-15 minutes.

As a result, 36% of patients ceased to detect neuropsychiatric disorders, 90% managed to stop the pain syndrome.

Dysuria disappeared in all patients. Sexual function was restored in 28% of patients. The secret of the prostate normalized in 86% of patients.

In the control TRUZI with dopplerography performed after the course of treatment, an increase in the average value of the peak linear velocity in the central zone of the prostate gland was found to be 1.53 times, in the peripheral zone it was increased 1.24 times. The average value of diastolic linear velocity increased in the central zone by 1.25 times, in the peripheral zone - by 1.37 times. The average linear velocity in the central zone increased 1.15 times, in the peripheral zone it increased 1.5 times. Changes in the pulsation index and resistance index were not observed. The increase in the average diameter of the vessels was more pronounced in the peripheral zone - by 1.29 times, in the central zone - by 1.15 times. The average value of the volumetric flow velocity increased 1.63 times in the central zone, in the peripheral zone it increased 2 times. The density of the vascular plexus in the central zone increased in 1,7 times, in peripheral - in 1,42 times.

Based on the changes in the vascularization of the prostate and its hemodynamics in the group of patients on chronic prostatitis, in which microwave therapy was used along with the conventional treatment, it is safe to say that this kind of physical effect favorably affects the prostate, contributing to the restoration of its normal vascularization and hemodynamics in the ischemic zones. The effect is more pronounced in the central zone of the prostate gland.
