Herbs are used in the form of decoctions for foot baths and poultices, as well as in the form of infusion and lotion for washing and wiping the affected area. Sometimes they are added to the composition of complex homeopathic remedies.

Bearberry promotes rapid healing of wounds and prevents the development of bacterial infections. It also has an anti-inflammatory effect. Normalizes metabolic processes in the skin, increases its ability to regenerate and the degree of saturation of the skin with moisture. It is used in the form of leaves. The main effect is due to the high content of glycosides and tannins.

Cumin is used in the form of fruits and seeds. It helps restore the skin, normalize metabolism in the upper layers of the skin. Increases the regenerative capacity of tissues. Relieves inflammation and prevents fungal infection.

Creeping thyme is used as a herb. The shoots, leaves, and flowers have beneficial properties. It contains a large amount of essential oils, resins, and gums, due to which it has a powerful antiseptic and wound-healing effect. It has the ability to quickly relieve pain and spasms.

Calendula for cracked heels

Calendula is used for cracks both externally and internally. It contains a large amount of vitamin C, as well as provitamin A, from which vitamin A is subsequently synthesized. The high content of essential oils and flavonoids allows you to quickly and effectively relieve inflammation and prevent the development of infection. It is used in the form of ligulate flowers and whole flower baskets. It is taken internally as a decoction and infusion. Usually 2 teaspoons are poured into a glass of water and drunk throughout the day.

An ointment is applied externally, for the preparation of which 10 grams of flowers ground into powder and 50 grams of Vaseline are required. All this is mixed and ground until a homogeneous mass is formed. Apply to cracks 2-3 times a day.

Aloe for cracked heels

It is used in the form of leaves. The juice contains a large number of vitamins and enzymes, as well as phytoncides, which are powerful biogenic stimulants. It is used both externally and internally.

Internal use helps normalize metabolic processes, and also stimulates tissue restoration and cellular processes. Normalizes skin condition and promotes its self-restoration and self-renewal.

External application in the form of ointments, creams, lotions and compresses renews the skin, promotes rapid healing of wounds and cracks, relieves inflammation, itching, swelling, and prevents the development of infection.

The ointment has proven itself well. Mix and melt on low heat pork fat, butter, cocoa, taken 100 grams each with 15 g of aloe juice. Apply to the affected areas of the skin. Can also be taken internally by tablespoon.

You can also apply a mixture of honey and aloe juice to your skin as an ointment. To do this, melt the honey over low heat. Stir the mixture constantly. Then add 2 tablespoons of aloe juice, stirring continuously. Mix thoroughly and remove from heat. Let it set, then apply a thin layer to your skin.

Celandine for cracked heels

The herb and roots are used. Contains a large amount of vitamins A, E, C. Thanks to this, it quickly restores the skin and heals wounds. Removes free radicals from the body (vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant). Soothes pain, relieves cramps and spasms, prevents the development of growths and neoplasms.

Celandine is used externally. You can use celandine juice. It is applied directly to the crack, having plucked the plant from the bush. You can also make a lotion. To do this, squeeze out about 50 grams of celandine juice and pour 3 tablespoons of alcohol or vodka over it. The resulting product is infused in a dark place for a week, after which it is used for wiping. You can also add it to foot baths and steam your feet in the resulting solution (about 10 ml of juice per 2 liters of hot water).

Burdock for cracked heels

Mainly roots and leaves are used. In the form of decoctions and infusions they are taken internally, which allows to increase the body's resistance and normalize metabolic processes. This is also reflected in the condition of the skin.

Externally, it is used in the form of decoctions for foot baths. A whole leaf is applied to the affected area for 30-40 minutes. This helps relieve pain, quickly eliminates inflammation and infection, stops bleeding and softens tissue. You can prepare various decoctions, infusions, ointments and creams based on burdock.

Onion for cracked heels

Onion has proven itself quite well. It helps soften the skin and acts as a good antiseptic. It is used in pure form or as part of mixtures. Onion juice works well and can be applied to the affected areas. The puree is applied to the leg as a compress.

To prepare the mixture, chop about 500 grams of onion, add a few tablespoons of sugar, honey to taste. You can use this mixture in the form of puree, or you can dilute it with 1 liter of boiling water and let it brew for an hour. Place it on the foot in a thin layer. The product has antibacterial properties and can also have a warming effect.

You can also make this remedy: take 50 grams of pure onion juice, mix with one tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of salt. Place on the crack, apply a layer of cellophane on top and put on a warm sock. Leave for about 40 minutes.

Onion puree has been used for a long time: grate the onion on a fine grater, mix with 2 tablespoons of honey and add 1 teaspoon of ground ginger. It is recommended to put the onion puree in warm socks, wrap yourself up warmly, and go to bed.
