Transcranial electroanalgesia is a method of local action with pulsed electric current of appropriate parameters through electrodes and wet hydrophilic pads (or using an electrically conductive gel) applied in contact to the skin of certain areas of the head.

Operating mode: current strength - 0.3-1 mA; voltage - up to 10 V; pulse repetition frequency - 60-100 Hz; pulse duration - 3.5-4 ms, following in groups of 20-50 pulses; pulse shape - rectangular; duty cycle - 5:1-2:1.

Operating mode: current strength - 0.3-1 mA; voltage - up to 20 V; pulse repetition frequency - 150-2000 Hz; pulse duration - 0.15-0.5 ms; pulse shape - rectangular; duty cycle - variable. The effect of the factor is also associated with the occurrence of electrodynamic changes in neurons, synapses and neural ensembles of the brain, with their conformational rearrangements and the various reactions and processes caused by them.

The peculiarities of this method of physiotherapy are determined by the significantly lower strength of the current, comparable to the energy parameters of the functioning of the biological system, and the greater variability of the frequency characteristics of the factor compared to similar parameters in the method of electrosleep therapy. It is these differences that allow us to obtain a wider range of clinical effects.

Main clinical effects: analgesic, tranquilizing, sedative, anti-withdrawal, normalization of vasomotor reactions, as well as repair and regeneration processes.

Equipment: “LENAR” (Therapeutic ElectroNARcosis), “Bi-LENAR”, “Etrans-1”, “Etrans-2”, “Transair-01”, “SEM-02”, “MDM-101”.
