Allergy is a common disease in the modern world, and there are many different types with completely different allergens. If we are not dealing with an allergy to tea, then many varieties of this drink have anti-allergenic properties.
Green tea against allergies
Modern science has repeatedly proven that green tea helps fight allergies due to the universal oxidizers it contains – catechins. Methylated catechin has special anti-allergenic properties. The fact is that when it “meets” an allergen cell, it envelops it, thereby blocking its allergenic effect. Therefore, the varieties of green tea that contain the largest amount of this substance are the ones that work best against allergies. But, in principle, any green herbal tea has antioxidant properties.
Green tea can help relieve allergy symptoms such as watery eyes, sneezing, and coughing. Three to four cups of green tea a day will be enough.
Many plants also have anti-allergenic properties, and teas from them can be drunk to prevent allergies, as well as drunk along with taking medications prescribed by your doctor.
Ginger tea against allergies
Skin allergies and their symptoms in the form of cough, headache and inflammation are well relieved by ginger tea. It can be purchased ready-made, or you can brew it yourself by grating or finely chopping the ginger root, pouring boiling water over it and infusing for fifteen minutes.
Chamomile tea for allergies
The simplest natural antihistamine is chamomile tea. It is often used to combat allergies. Chamomile tea stops the course of inflammatory processes and has a relaxing effect. To prevent allergies or relieve their symptoms, it is recommended to drink one or two cups of chamomile tea throughout the day. Note: chamomile tea is contraindicated if you are allergic to ragweed.

Rosehip tea against allergies
Rosehip tea is an excellent remedy for fighting allergies. Its anti-inflammatory properties, as well as the regulation of the produced substance - histamine - help reduce the manifestation of allergic symptoms. Tea can be brewed from fresh or dried rose hips. Berries are poured with boiling water and infused for fifteen minutes. In addition, vitamin C, which is found in rose hips in large quantities, strengthens the body's immune system, which is also an important factor in the fight against allergies.
Red Rooibos Tea for Allergies
Red rooibos can help fight allergies, as well as hay fever, eczema and allergic bronchitis. Red rooibos tea contains many antioxidants, vitamins and minerals - it has a high content of iron, calcium, potassium, copper, zinc, fluorides, magnesium, manganese, alpha hydroxy acids. Rooibos tea leaves are poured with boiling water and infused for seven minutes.
