Indications of the sitrox

It is used in such situations:

  • when there are infectious diseases inside ENT organs or lungs;
  • with the development of infectious diseases inside the urogenital organs;
  • for infections involving soft tissue with skin.

Release form

Release in tablets - a volume of 250 mg (within a separate strip of 6 such tablets) or 500 mg (within a strip - 3 tablets). The pack contains 1 strip with tablets.

Pharmacodynamics

The drug affects the activity of extra- and intracellular microbes. Among the bacteria for which the drug has an antimicrobial effect:

  • aerobes of Gram-positive type (this includes those that produce b-lactamase): pneumococci with streptococcus agalactia, pyogenic streptococci, and Staphylococcus aureus, Str. Viridans and individual streptococci included in subclasses C, F, and G;
  • aerobes from the Gram-negative subclass: paracoccus / pertussis sticks, campylobacter in the small intestine, gardnerelles, moraxelles, Ducrea's stick, influenza rod, H. Parainfluenzae, E. Coli, dysentery bacteria, legionellosis, salmonellosis or gonorrhea and yersiniosis, and meningococci ;
  • anaerobes: clostridium perfringens, Bact. Bivius and peptostreptococci.

Sensitivity to the drug has germs-causative agents of syphilis, mycoplasmas with chlamydia, ureaplasma and Borrelia Burgdorfer.

Pharmacokinetics

Dosing and administration

Tablets are drunk in breaks between meals (1 time per day). Do not chew the tablet. Dose sizes:

  • treatment of ENT diseases: one-time intake per day 0.5 g of drugs. The course lasts 3 days;
  • the initial stage of Lyme borreliosis: on the 1st day it is required to take 1 g of the drug, and then during the 2-5th days - 0.5 g per day. In general, the course lasts 5 days;
  • urethritis of infectious origin: a one-time intake of the 1st g of medicine. The course lasts only 1 day.

For children, the size of a single dose is 10 mg / kg. The entire course lasts 3 days, and during this period in general you need to take 30 mg / kg of medication. There is also a scheme with a 5-day drug intake: on the first day - 10 mg / kg, and then in the interval 2-5 for - 5-10 mg / kg.

If one dose was missed, it is recommended to take the next one after it at least 24 hours later.

Use of the sitrox during pregnancy

Zitrox can not be given to pregnant women.

Contraindications

The main contraindications:

  • the presence of hypersensitivity to the drug;
  • lactation period;
  • severe functional liver / kidney lesions;
  • children under the age of 3 years.

Side effects of the sitrox

The drug is fairly well tolerated, it is considered safe for patients.
