Special instructions

Long hair is a fertile breeding ground for lice. Lice can get on your hair when you use someone else's towel or visit a swimming pool, sauna, or hairdresser. You can suspect lice if you start to feel very strong itching in the back of your head, preventing you from sleeping well and making you irritable.

Hellebore water is an alcohol solution. The poisons contained in the product paralyze lice. If you use hellebore water correctly, all adult lice will die. Hellebore water does not affect nits, they will need to be picked out manually, very carefully.

Hellebore water is not used to treat pediculosis in children. It also cannot be used for scratching or any skin irritations, since toxic alkaloids should not be allowed to enter the blood.

Other folk remedies for pediculosis.

Before we settle on any specific method, let's figure out what the difference is between lice and nits, and why what helps against the former is useless to use against the latter.

The course of treatment for lice can be considered complete if it is carried out for 1 month.

There is a wide range of anti-lice products in pharmacies now. But many of us are used to trusting folk remedies more. In addition, they are more accessible.

Mechanical removal of lice - combing with a special thick comb. Combing should be done every day for 1 month. A single treatment is not enough: treatment is also carried out on the 10th and 16th day. Hair inspection is mandatory for all family members.

An old method of treating lice with kerosene: apply it to your hair and wrap it up. Leave it on for an hour and a half. Comb your hair, comb out dead lice, larvae and eggs (nits). Kerosene can cause burns if handled carelessly!

Water with vinegar also helps to deactivate lice and makes hair shiny (1 tbsp. per glass of water). Wet your head with the solution and comb out.

Washing your hair with dust soap can be a good help in treating pediculosis.

Another recipe: mix 45 g of salt and a glass of wine vinegar. Wash your hair first and wrap it in gauze soaked in this mixture. Keep it until the gauze is dry.

Or another remedy: you will need cranberries. Squeeze the juice from a handful of berries and rub it into the scalp. We can also recommend making a hair mask from cranberries: mix cranberry and lemon juice with vegetable oil and turpentine. Keep for an hour and a half.

Pour boiling water over burdock leaves, strain the finished infusion and wash your hair in it.

Mix cumin seeds and apple cider vinegar 50/50. Apply the mixture to your hair and stay in the sun. Do not wash your hair for 6 hours.

Mix 2 tablespoons of mint leaves and a glass of pomegranate juice and boil. Rub into hair.

Be sure to wash your bed linen thoroughly and dry it in the sun.

Hellebore water accelerates hair growth and helps with hair loss (alopecia). Hellebore is excellent for helping hair grow and eliminates dandruff. It is enough to apply the tincture for this purpose once every 10 days. As a result, your hair will not only become thicker and healthier, but will also stay clean longer. It is enough to wrap your head in polyethylene and leave for 50 minutes.

Shelf life

Shelf life - 24 months.
