Indications Rheuma Ointment Intensive DR.THAISS
It is used in the following situations:
- as an additional remedy during therapy for lumbago, neuralgia, rheumatism or sciatica, and also for pain in the joints, back and muscles;
- in case of joint or muscle strain or intense physical exertion, as well as to eliminate muscle spasms and treat sprains and bruises;
- during sports or therapeutic massages.
Release form
It is released in the form of an ointment - in tubes with a volume of 50, 75 or 100 ml. The package contains 1 such tube.
Pharmacodynamics
The ointment is a complex remedy that is used locally. The medicinal effect of the drug develops due to the action of the active elements contained in its composition. Among the properties of the drug are anti-inflammatory, distracting, and also local irritant. The ointment also has a moderate disinfectant effect.
After the ointment is applied to the affected area of skin, the sensitive nerve receptors located in the subcutaneous layer and on the surface of the skin are irritated. In addition, the skin vessels expand and a feeling of heat occurs at the site of exposure. The medicine helps improve blood supply in the area of the skin and subcutaneous tissues.
Pharmacokinetics
Studies of the pharmacokinetic parameters of turpentine with camphor, as well as eucalyptus and pine oil, demonstrate that these elements are absorbed through the skin, as well as through the respiratory system (inhalation).
Excretion occurs through the lungs or with feces and urine.
Dosing and administration
The ointment should be applied to the affected areas 2-3 times a day, with light movements. For an area no larger than a palm, a small strip about 0.5-1 cm long will suffice. Rub the ointment until it is completely absorbed into the skin.

Contraindications

- children under 2 years of age.
