Neuritis and neuralgia of peripheral nerves, excluding traumatic injuries of the peripheral nerves and the consequences of neuroinfections, in the vast majority of cases accompanies osteochondrosis of the spine. As with osteochondrosis of the spine, from the methods of physiotherapy in the arsenal of a general practitioner (family doctor), the basic ones are short-pulse electroanalgesia, drug electrophoresis and laser (magnetolaser) therapy.

Short-pulse electroanalgesia in neuritis and neuralgia is recommended to be administered to patients also with the help of the apparatus "DiaDENS-T".

First, the exposed surface of the skin is exposed to two fields (right and left) paravertebrally in the region of the corresponding segments of the spinal cord from which the peripheral nerve is formed. The technique is contact, stable. The frequency of electrical impulses with neuralgia 77 Hz, with neuritis - 10 Hz. Time of action on one field is 5 minutes.

Further, the effect is performed skin-to-skin on a contact, labile (scanning) technique: slowly mix the electrode along the projection of the corresponding nerve from the center to the periphery with a velocity of 1 cm / s. The frequency of electrical impulses with neuralgia 77 Hz, with neuritis - 10 Hz. The exposure time is up to 10 min.

The voltage of the electric current is strictly individual (according to subjective sensations in the form of a weak "tingling" under the electrode).

Procedures are carried out once a day in the morning hours (up to 12 hours), for the course of treatment - 10 - 15 procedures daily.

Drug electrophoresis of the appropriate drugs in neuritis and neuralgia is recommended to be performed with the help of the device "Elfor-I" ("Elfor") according to the generally accepted methods of exposure in this pathology.

Laser (magnetolaser) therapy of neuritis and neuralgia of peripheral nerves use apparatus with infrared emitters (wavelength 0.8 - 0.9 μm) both in the continuous mode of radiation generation and in the pulsed mode with the appropriate frequency.

First, the exposed surface of the skin is exposed to a contact, stable technique (laser or magneto-laser therapy) on the corresponding segments of the spinal cord in three fields (one between the spinous processes of the vertebrae, the other two - paravertebrally from the left and right), from which the peripheral nerve is formed. APM NLI 5 - 10 mW / cm2. Induction of the magnetic nozzle 20 - 40 mT. The frequency of generation of pulsed laser radiation with neuralgia 50 - 100 Hz, with neuritis - 5 - 10 Hz. Time of action on one field 2 min.

Then irradiation is performed skin-by-skin, using a contact, labile technique (laser therapy only): a slow, smooth movement of the radiator along the projection of the corresponding nerve from the center to the periphery with a velocity of 1 cm / s. APM NLI 5 - 10 mW / cm2. The frequency of generation of pulsed radiation with neuralgia 50 - 100 Hz, with neuritis 5 - 10 Hz. The exposure time is up to 10 min.

It is possible to consistently perform procedures in one day at home with neuritis and neuralgia of peripheral nerves (interval between procedures is not less than 30 min):

  • drug electrophoresis + laser (magnetolaser) therapy;
  • drug electrophoresis + magnetotherapy;
  • short pulse electroanalgesia (in the morning hours + drug electrophoresis (in the evening hours).
