Pharmacodynamics
The pharmacological action of a drug is determined by the properties of its components.
The main active ingredient of the complex is the extract of the natural immunomodulator ginseng (PanaxG115). This is a well-known plant, the “root of life”, which slows down the aging process, tones, activates metabolic processes and self-renewal of cells.
In addition, Pharmaton contains saponins – plant glycosides that have a beneficial effect on the respiratory organs and normalize their functions during colds.
Eleven vitamins necessary for the normal functioning of the body support its vital functions:
Retinol palmitate (vitamin A) – rejuvenating effect, strengthening the immune system, especially useful for vision.
Thiamine nitrate (vitamin B1) is necessary for the normal condition of nerves and muscles, participates in fat metabolism and hematopoiesis, and is responsible for genetic memory.
Riboflavin (vitamin B2) is one of the main participants in the processes of erythropoiesis and procreation; almost no vital process can take place without it.
Nicotinamide (vitamin B3, old name PP) is a catalyst for many biochemical reactions in the body, thins the blood and dilates blood vessels, promotes the removal of waste and toxins.
Calcium pantothenate (vitamin B5) is a regulator of metabolic processes, a catalyst for the production of adrenal hormones, hemoglobin, histamine, acetylcholine, cholesterol (useful) and essential fatty acids, reduces fat deposition in organs and tissues.
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) is a participant in hematopoiesis and other processes of biosynthesis of substances necessary for the body, regulates the potassium-sodium balance in cells, promotes rapid restoration of skin integrity and prevents dermatoses.
Cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) is a stimulator of erythropoiesis and other hematopoiesis processes, prevents the development of vascular pathologies.
Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is a pronounced immunostimulant.
Ergocalciferol (vitamin D2) – ensures the strength of bone tissue by stimulating the absorption of calcium.
α-tocopherol acetate DL (vitamin E) is known primarily for its antioxidant properties, promotes cell restoration and renewal.
Rutoside trihydrate is essential for blood vessels, prevents their fragility and bleeding, its intake is a preventative measure against hemorrhagic diathesis, and also has the ability to bind free radicals and enhances the body's defenses.
Minerals complement the action:
Iron sulfate - without which the process of hematopoiesis is impossible, prevents iron deficiency anemia, and is involved in many biochemical processes in the body.
Calcium hydrophosphate is an element of bone tissue, and also has antihistamine and anti-inflammatory properties. It provides the body not only with calcium, but also with phosphorus, which is necessary for normal brain activity.
Calcium fluoride – prevents tooth decay, development of osteoporosis, improves the condition of hair and nails.
Potassium sulfate – protects blood vessels from the formation of atherosclerotic plaques, prevents the development of arrhythmia, and promotes normal blood supply to the blood vessels of the brain.
Magnesium sulfate is known for its antispasmodic effect, calms the nervous system, and stabilizes the psyche.
Manganese (II) sulfate – stimulates the synthesis of endogenous interferon, estrogens, is an energy regulator, normalizes blood sugar levels and its clotting.
Zinc oxide – increases stress resistance, suppresses the action of pro-inflammatory agents, is an antiseptic, has a beneficial effect on brain function and metabolism.
Lecithin – is found in the tissues of the liver, heart muscle, brain and nerve fibers. It has a pronounced hepatoprotective ability, binds free radicals.
Use Pharmatona during pregnancy
Studies of the drug's effect on the fetus and during breastfeeding have not been conducted, so it is not recommended to use it during these periods.

Overdose
When the recommended amount is exceeded, symptoms similar to hypervitaminosis A and D are observed. There may be nausea, vomiting, bloating, diarrhea, dry skin, weakness and drowsiness. Acute symptoms are observed only with significant overdose.
Excessive iron intake is manifested by nausea, abdominal pain, weakness, rectal bleeding, acidosis, increased blood glucose levels, and vascular insufficiency.
Excessive doses of ginseng extract cause increased excitability, insomnia, tachycardia, heart pain, increased blood pressure, and depressive disorders.
Interactions with other drugs
It is not advisable to combine it with anticoagulants and levodopa due to a decrease in their effect, tetracycline antibiotics, which are incompatible with iron.
Vitamin A reduces the anti-inflammatory effect of glucocorticosteroids and exhibits toxicity in combination with retinoids.
Nitrites and cholestyramine reduce the absorption of vitamin A.
Tocopherol is not compatible with alkaline agents, indirect anticoagulants, and enhances the effectiveness of NSAIDs and glucocorticosteroids.
Vitamin C increases iron absorption and reduces the effects of blood thinning drugs.
Oral contraceptives reduce the absorption of ascorbic acid.
Thiamine reduces the toxicity of anti-tuberculosis drugs and weakens the effect of curare-like agents.
Alcohol-containing and potassium-containing agents, PAS, and cimetidine reduce the absorption of cyanocobalamin.
Riboflavin is incompatible with a number of antibiotics, and tricyclic antidepressants inhibit the metabolism of vitamin B2, especially in the heart muscle. Combination with quinine can lead to bleeding.
Ginseng extract is not compatible with phenelzine, increases the excretion of the anthelmintic drug albendazole, and can only be used simultaneously with digoxin under medical supervision.
