Release form
It is produced in the form of tablets, 10 tablets on a blister pack, one package contains 3 blisters.
Pharmacodynamics
The antipyretic properties of acetylsalicylic acid are due to the fact that it affects the central nervous system, as it has the ability to suppress the process of PG-E2 synthesis in the hypothalamus - as a response to the influence of pyrogens. The analgesic effect of the substance develops centrally, and in addition to it, peripherally. The central is expressed in the effect of the substance on the centers of the hypothalamus, as well as a decrease in the pain threshold, while the peripheral is manifested as the ability to slow down the process of PG synthesis in inflamed areas, as well as prevent sensitization of pain endings in relation to mechanical or chemical irritants.
Paracetamol slows down the process of PG synthesis, thus providing an analgesic and antipyretic effect. This substance acts as a weak inhibitor of the biosynthesis of PG, which are involved in the inflammation process.
Caffeine is able to suppress the active functioning of the PDE enzyme, as a result of which cAMP accumulates. The main function of caffeine is active interaction with purine receptors located in the brain. Under the influence of caffeine, the analgesic properties of acetylsalicylic acid, as well as paracetamol, are enhanced, as a result of which the therapeutic effect occurs faster.
Dosing and administration
The medicine should be taken orally 2-3 times a day after meals: 1 tablet. No more than 6 tablets are allowed per day, dividing this dose into 3 separate doses. The duration of the treatment course should not exceed 1 week, and the specific figure depends on the severity of the disease.

Overdose
In case of severe overdose of the drug, a clinical situation develops that usually occurs in case of acute poisoning with salicylates or paracetamol: disturbances of consciousness with a possible state of coma, the onset of collapse, a state of dehydration, shortness of breath, increased body temperature, disorders in liver function, hyperventilation, and in addition, metabolic acidosis.
Overdose can be eliminated in the following ways: general detoxification of the body (gastric lavage, taking laxatives, as well as enterosorbents), infusion therapy to normalize the acid-base balance. If the patient has acidosis, it is necessary to administer a solution of E325 or baking soda. To reduce the hepatotoxic effect of paracetamol, cysteine, acetylcysteine or mercaptamine are used. Symptomatic treatment is also performed.
Interactions with other drugs
When Farmadol is taken in combination with anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, and methotrexate (a sulfonylurea derivative), the effect of these substances is enhanced. The drug can also increase side effects from the use of glucocorticosteroids.
Farmadol should not be combined with salicylates and barbiturates, as well as rifampicin and anticonvulsants.
Storage conditions
Farmadol should be kept in a dry place, out of the reach of children and away from light. The room temperature should not exceed 25 degrees.
