Pamired is a member of a pharmacotherapeutic group of drugs that affect the process of bone tissue mineralization and prevent their destruction. International nonproprietary name - Pamidronate. Manufacturer - Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd (India).
Pamired is one of the synonyms of bisphosphonate drugs that have as an active substance a derivative of pamidronic acid disodium pamidronate and an identical mechanism of pharmacological action. Other trade names of drugs with this substance: Pamidronate, Pamiredin, Pamidria, Pamifos, Pomigara, Aredia, etc.
Pamired, like other drugs based on disodium pamidronate, is produced in the form of a lyophilized dry substance for the preparation of a solution for intravenous slow infusions.
